vxPlug can load VST plug-ins within a host application with the ability to:
- control plug-ins from a single user interface, and to
- define the point where audio processing takes place in a flexible manner. Actually, vxPlug consists of 2 plug-ins: vxPlugControl and vxPlugClient.
vxPlugControl loads plug-ins and controls their parameters. Host parameter automation is supported.
There are two ways to set up the routing of the audio data:
- You can route audio through vxPlugControl and through selected plug-ins. In this configuration, vxPlugControl works like a chainer. vxPlugControl also supports parallel processing.
- Alternatively, the point of processing audio in your host application can be defined by vxPlugClient. Every instance of vxPlugClient is able to send and receive audio data to/from vxPlugControl. Within vxPlugControl, the audio data is routed to plug-ins you have loaded before.
Both routing options can be mixed (switchable for every plug-in). You can use up to 16 instances of vxPlugControl and up to 128 instances of vxPlugClient.

LensFix also includes adjustments to compensate for digital camera sensors that are not properly centered.
