XA1 is a AudioUnit plug-in for Mac OS X, unlike the wast majority of analyzers that use FFT for analyzing the audio, XA1 use bandpass filters as most of the hardware devices.
Therefore XA1 has a very musical display, the algorithm used for analyzing has the same resolution across the spectrum, so the responce in the lo end of the spectrum is just as fast as the high end responce unlike FFT based analyzers that has very bad timing in the lo end.

QTFileTransfer is a REALbasic plugin that uses QuickTime to transfer a file from an URL to a FolderItem.
Its a fairly straightforward plugin with various options. The plugin supports 68K, PPC-classic, Carbon/OSX and WIN32 with QuickTime installed. The plugin does asynchronous downloads, and has a global method to enhance downloading speed. Speed is also proportional to chunk-size (packet size) you can adjust.

Waveform Monitor and Vectorscope
Test Gear provides standard waveform monitor and vectorscope displays so that your work can be analyzed in the traditional manner without expensive outboard equipment.
The waveform monitor can be formatted to show an entire frame or two fields. Options also include luma, luma plus chroma, parade, and RGB style displays. The display can be calibrated in IRE units or millivolts, as you prefer.
Histograms
No longer do you need to apply an effect just to see a histogram display; Test Gears histograms are always available. View red, green, blue, and luma histograms at the same time, or select an individual channel for greater detail. You can also zoom in and out to see the full range of data.

You can also use it for examining color subsampling issues, edge sharpness, and other levels changes that are difficult to visualize with any other tool. Audio Waveform Display
