Message 1.3.0 provides an easy and simple program to display messages, quotations, inspirational thoughts, vocabulary words, even foreign language phrases (accented characters are supported) on top of your screen periodically to learn as you work on your computer.
Default messages are provided to learn the application; then you can prepare your own messages using categories. Messages are chosen in list or random order from checked messages in a Message Maintenance window. The Message Control Panel provides settings of display time (1 - 3 sec), period between messages (1 - 60 min), text color, etc. Settings are saved between settings. In Demo Mode, the application shuts down after ten minutes. This limitation is removed after registration.
Major Features:
- When you launch Message you see the Control Window
- This program comes with five default categories, each with five text messages, so that you can try Message. You will probably want to make your own categories and messages. Message has unlimited capacity for messages and categories.
- The name of a category must start with an asterisk.
- Categories and messages may include characters in Latin, Japanese, Spanish, French, German, Greek, Korean, Cirillic, Hebrew, Russian, Afrikaans, Polish, etc. Fonts for these characters are included in the operating system unless you opted otherwise. Above you see examples of such characters.
- You can clear the table and enter your own messages. A button is provided to save a file with the messages in the table and you can load a plain text file of messages. TextEdit works well for this purpose.
- The Message Table information, Control Panel settings and Control Panel position on the display are saved between sessions.
Enhancements: Uses default messages in the third person. For example: "You are a caring person" vice "I am a caring person".

Mail Saver 3.8.2 is very useful tool because it can solve the problem when Apple's Mail works wonderfully to send and receive messages, but using it for long-term storage of email has undesirable consequences by moving messages into the Finder for long-term storage.
It does this by linking mailboxes to Finder folders. When Mail Saver saves the contents of a mailbox, it copies its messages into its linked folder, then moves the original messages to Mail's Trash. The linked folders can be located anywhere you wish, such as with a project, an account or an interest group.
Mail Saver simply copies a message without doing any file conversion, thus a saved copy of a message is simply a Mail document (.emlx) file which must be opened with Mail. These saved documents may be Replied, Redirected, Forwarded, Bounced and Printed by Mail just like any other message. (But, they cannot be Junked, Deleted or Flagged). Saved messages also retain attachments, if present. Searching saved messages in Leopard is easy, simply use Spotlight. The saved copy of a message is modified so that:
- The file name is the header's subject;
- The modification date is the header's Date Sent; and
- The comment is the header's To: address (for sent mail) or From: address (for received mail).
