This gives you instant access to the root of your desktop, without closing your open windows. Release the keys and your windows are fully open again.

Badia OpenNow Pro is an XTension that lets you double-click on any picture to access complete file information, with options for updating, revealing, changing preview resolution, and opening the image with its default application or any application you choose.

Double-click on any picture box with the Contents tool selected to display a window with the following information and tools:

• File name
• Reveal in Finder.
• Full path. You can select any entry from this pop-up menu to reveal any enclosing folder in the Finder.
• File size.
• Picture dimensions (width x height).
• File format: EPS, TIFF, Photoshop, etc.
• Color model: RGB, CMYK, etc.
• Picture resolution.
• Effective resolution, which takes into account scaling of the picture within the picture box.
• Date last modified.
• Status: OK, Modified, etc.
• Update Now button to bring up to date pictures with Modified or Wrong Type status.
• Preview resolution (low or high).
• Open With pop-up Menu, containing the default application and a list of recently added applications. A list of up to 15 recent applications is remembered by OpenNow Pro.
• Always open with button to open all subsequent pictures with this application, regardless of their default application.
• Usage button to open the picture usage window.
• Open button to open the picture with the application currently selected in the Open With pop-up menu.
