Itsagif is a simple program for converting Macintosh PICT or Windows BMP files (or clipboard images) into GIF files. The program dispels the myth that GIF files are limited to 256 colours: itsagif can produce GIF files with more than 256 colours. Itsagif is currently unique in that it is the only program that allows you to easily create GIF images with more than 256 colours. The produced files follow the GIF89A specification.
