The appearance of the icons in the Bookends toolbar has been improved. When first run, Bookends installs the Word add-in and template into the appropriate Microsoft Office 2004 folders.
- Better use of Ibid. When Use Ibid. is specified in a format, it only applies to in-text citations (for example, footnotes), not the bibliography.
- Improved Title Case. When a title is output in Title Case, the first letter of a word after an apostrophe will be capitalized.
- BibTeX citations can be superscripted during a scan
- Bug fixes and enhancements. When importing, a tab after a tag is treated like a space. Improved handling of "Valid Tags" when importing. Bibliographies are no longer incomplete if they are created while the Hits Window is in front and View Formatted is enabled. Edited format style information is stored and recalled correctly. Adding all references in a Term List to the Hits List with Shift-click now increments the Hit values correctly. Mellel citations that have "quoted" characters (i.e. enclosed by the character) at the beginning and the end now resolve correctly during a scan. Lines at the bottom of a page are no longer lost when printing the contents of the Bibliography window. With BibTeX enabled and required fields indicated, the indicator (e.g. color) will update correctly if a reference is not the default Type and a new reference is created. When using "BibTeX" citations, curly brackets are used instead of tildes. Proofreading scans can be performed on BibTeX documents.
