Major Features:
- MovCaptioner allows you to add captions to your movies and make transcripts of your videos or podcasts as quickly as you can type.
- MovCaptioner keeps repeating a segment of the movie until you are done typing what you hear. Just hit the Return key and it will save your caption and automatically advance to the next few seconds of the movie, allowing you to zip through your captioning tasks in no time flat. You don't need to be a QuickTime guru, either. The caption track is added automatically with the click of a button. And clicking the Transcript button compiles all the captions into one concise text file. If you can type, you can make your movies accessible.
- Supports: embedded QT captions, SCC Closed Captions, SMIL, Flash DFXP, JW Player Timed Text (TT), Common Look and Feel (CLF) Player, Adobe Encore captions, Spruce STL, Subrip SRT, Subviewer SUB, SAMI, and creates transcripts in both paragraph form and line-by-line with timecode in both plain text and HTML formats.

- Paragraph tags will be ignored in other exports.
- Changed Import Text in Paragraph Form to respect carriage returns as separate captions
- Changed default name for transcripts to put "Transcripts" at the end instead of the beginning
- Fixed an issue with Import Text in Paragraph Form where it would combine very long sentences onto one caption
- Fixed an issue with Split Caption button where the letter preceding the cursor would get repeated on the next caption
- Fixed a bug where opening a smaller project resulted in the same number of captions as previous project, only the extra captions were blank.
Requirements:
- MacIntosh OSX only
- QuickTime Pro 7.0 or higher required for embedding caption tracks (not required for creating transcripts, SMIL, or Flash XML files, etc.)
- Flip4Mac plugin (free) required for loading Windows Media movies to create SAMI captions
- Perian plugin (free) for QT required for loading FLV movies
