dittoGUI is a drag and drop interface for the standard ditto command. This is designed for ease of use and only includes a subset of the ditto commands. dittoGUI wont create archives as this may be done directly from Finder.
Late Breaking Quirks.
- If the dittoGUI window is to close to the left side of the screen, the source drawer opens on the right, and visa versa with the right side and the destination drawer. Solution close the drawer and move the dittoGUI window into the centre of the screen. (This is normal Finder behavior.)
- ditto copies the contents of the source folders not the folder itself. (This is normal ditto behavior.)
Known Quirks:
- To uncompressed .zip files the whole source group must be .zip files.
- Only the first 13 characters of long filenames display in the main window, Tooltip has the full filename. This only effects the display.
- The window title is not immediately updated when dittoGUI is in the background.
- If the destination folder does not exist dittoGUI will create it. (This is normal ditto behaviour)
- If the Destination Folder is also in the Source List it skips it and posts the error, in Results.

EasyPhoto is a very easy utility to help create pictures for the web from your digital camera pictures. After explaining all the steps you need to go through to change those 2+ megapixel / 22 inch pictures taken with a digital camera into smaller 6 inch 100K pictures suitable for email, I decided to write EasyPhoto. If youre a PhotoShop guru, this application may not be for you, but if you have a friend, or reletive that isnt, EasyPhoto allows you to do all these steps by simply dragging a folder, or camera onto the EasyPhoto window.
