You can click in the widget to jump right to a mailbox. The image is resizable by dragging from the lower right corner. It very simply shows your DockStar Mail icon on the Dashboard.

Virtual Dashboard 1.3 is a full featured and cost-effective dashboard widget. With the release of Apple Macintosh OS X 10.4, Apple released the Dashboard. The Dashboard allows you to use mini applications called widgets. These widgets allow you to see information such as the date and time, or the running value of stocks that the user can setup. They also can be games or just about anything that developers can come up with. The Dashboard makes it very handy to easily access these widgets and the type of data or information that the user wants to look at. There are literally thousands of these widgets that have been developed and can be downloaded from various sites.
The problem with the Dashboard is that the number of widgets that can viewed on the screen at one time is limited to the amount of viewable screen space that the user has. To solve this, Virtual Dashboard was created. With Virtual Dashboard, users can create widget sets that can be switched in and out either through a menu or keyboard shortcuts. This allows users to create different sets and add or remove the widgets that they want to see. Virtual Dashboard allows the user to create as many sets as they desire. Users could literally have access to hundreds, if not thousands of widgets right at their fingertips.

Hardware Monitor Widget 2.8 is an exciting new program to give you access to all sensor readings Mac OS X uses to monitor and cool your computer.
Major Features:
- The widget allows you to select two of your computer's sensors which should be displayed via Dashboard. The sensor readouts are displayed in a compact panel.
- Temperature values can be displayed in Celsius, Fahrenheit, or Kelvin. To display more than two sensor readings in Dashboard you can launch multiple copies of the widget.
Enhancements:
- On PowerPC hardware, support for S.M.A.R.T. hard drive sensors accessed via SATA interfaces has been enhanced. The widget will now accept the temperature sensors of unknown SATA drive models. (This has always been the standard on Intel-based computers.)
- The support for hard drive sensors controlled via proprietary drivers of Sonnet and FirmTek has been enhanced.
- The default number of displayed digits behind the decimal point is now automatically set to zero in cases where it is known that the sensor hardware does not provide more significant digits.
- Corrected a problem where the temperature values displayed for the cores of the Intel P7350 processor have been shifted by 15 degrees Celsius.

Dash Monitors is a utility that brings system monitoring to your Tiger Dashboard with monitors for CPU, Memory, Network, and Disk I/O.
Users can choose between three different ways to view the information. The text view shows a basic listing of the statistics. A simple view shows bar charts representing the system resource load. Finally, a graphical view will display a fully imaged graphical interface of what is happening on the system.
Dash Monitors is very useful for users who would like to run a system monitor but need all the screen real-estate while working.

- There are 3 modes for each of the monitors: text, simple, and graphical. The text view mode shows a very simple text view of the resources being used and is beneficial because it takes very few system resources to generate the statistics.

- The graphical view mode, while taking more CPU resources to draw all the monitors, displays a fully imaged graphical interface to what is happening on the system. Text summaries are provided with the monitors in simple and graphical mode to provide the exact data along with the graphical approximations.
Open Source:
- Dash Monitors takes advantage of MTK for all of the statistics it gathers. MTK is open source and can be downloaded from the Gaucho Software Open Source pages. Look for more features in Dash Monitors as MTK is more fully developed.
