On a MacBook Pro 1.83 GHz fgrab needs about 20% of the CPU processing power to capture the whole screen (1440 x 900 px @ 30 fps).
If only a special area of the screen is in motion (that is the normal case), fgrab merely needs 5% or less. Comment to your screencast using your microphone.
fgrab is bundled with FastCut. Currently it is not sold separately. The UNREGISTERED watermark does not appear (in this beta version) if you have a registered version of FastCut 2.x installed. The final version (v1.0) will be free for all users who order FastCut [+fgrab] after Feburary 10, 2007.

The iProof-X and iProof-X LF Direct Print Driver for Epson Ink Jet Printers are non-PostScript drivers designed to be used with Apples OS X 10.2 or later. The iProof-X Driver allows you to print high quality color images and text using ICC profiles designed specifically by iProof Systems for over 55 Epson Ink Jet printers. Unlike free drivers, iProof-X contains ICC color profiles for each paper type and resolution. Shareware software may require multiple print tries to get color right.
iProof-X also comes standard with iProofs custom PPDs for all the Epson Ink Jet printers supported. At the time of print, when selecting the media type and resolution, the custom ICC profiles are automatically selected for the resolution and media type you selected. The combination of iProofs custom ICC profiles and printer specific PPDs allows you to print high quality images and smooth crisp text.
It should be noted the present combination of CUPS and Apples OS X 10.2 requires some applications to print files to PDF and then print the PDFs from the application Preview that comes as part of Apples OS 10.2 software. The Apple Preview Ver. 1.0 can view and print multi page documents such as PDFs, tiff, jpeg, gif, pict, png and others. It is anticipated, in the near future, that Apple will be releasing an update to OS 10.2 to accommodate direct printing from all applications. Until such time as an update is available from Apple, the following applications cannot do a direct print to a CUPS based print solution and must be saved as PDFs and then printed from Preview. A partial list of these applications are as follows: QuarkXPress, PageMaker, FreeHand, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Acrobat and Apple Works.
Microsoft Office and Internet pages can print directly to the iProof-X driver, without going to PDF.

The links and the menu structure are stored in a central file. For the appearance of the single menus and the single pages arbitrary menu templates and/or page templates can be used.
Supported languages in FlatFusion are English and German at the moment...
Main features:
- Storage of the page and menu structure and all links occurs in a central file. Consistence of the linking of the created pages is so guaranteed.
- Separate maintenance of layout and content through distribution in templates and content files.
- Appearance of the menus and the individual HTML pages is defined by templates. A homogeneous appearance through the commitment of few templates can be realised easily. A commitment of as many as desired templates is possible of course.
- Simple change of the templates and subsequent regeneration reduces the effort for a conversion to a minimum.
- Flexible linkage of code through different placeholders (tags).
- Created menu templates, page templates and content files are processed offline on the local computer and complete files in the HTML format are generated from that. These can then simply be uploaded with an arbitrary FTP program onto the webserver of the provider.
- More independence of certain providers or webservers, since no specific system requirements or settings are necessary.
- FlatFusion is written in the Java programming language and can run therefore in principle on every operating system for which a Java runtime environment (JRE) of the firm Sun Microsystems is available.
- FlatFusion does not need a database, neither on the local computer nor on the webserver. FlatFusion stores all necessary information in "flat" text files which can be edited with every text editor or HTML editor. Through that a backup can be simply done by duplicating the files in the file system.
Enhancements:
- Bugfix: The menu was not inserted when the link from the main menu did not refer to a site which was also occuring in the according sub menu. This should be fixed now.
- Bugfix: The detection of the active link did not always function correctly. To ensure this, the numbering of the menu items in the site structure file was changed a little bit, for more details read the users guide.Important: Old site structure files has to be changed to the new numbering in order to work with V1.0.1.
- Bugfix: The end mark "*" now also works if space are behind this character.
- Bugfix: More errors in the site structure are now detected and handled. More clear error messages are shown during the generation process.
- New function: Links to other websites can now be included in the menu (see users guide).
- New function: Instead ot the CODEINC tags there are now the tags CODEINC1 to CODEINC5. Different text for each tag can now be included (see users guide).
