The game consists of multiple rounds called skirmishes. The skirmish is made of individual turns, until a player decides to end the round or until the deck of cards is exhausted. During each skirmish there are two ways to score. The first is called scoring the frontline. The second is scoring the battlefield, which consists of scoring the best 4 out of 5 cards in the playerâ s hand in conjunction with a common turn card. Scoring the battlefield occurs at the end of each skirmish or round. Battlefield Cribbage also puts a joker into play. The joker is called the kill card for it kills any hand that it is part of during the scoring of the battlefield.
Battlefield Cribbage also features a hand calculator as an aid in scoring hands, a game recorder for replay of hands, and a game log to record game activity. Battlefield Cribbage can be played with 2, 3 or 4 players. In 4-player, the players can play either as individuals or as teams.

It collects statistics for pegging, hand, and crib points scored in the game and gives you a normalized percentage of each category of points. - There are four levels of play including novice, intermediate, expert, and Kreskin. The novice level uses only the core AI functionality. The intermediate level adds half of the defensive and offensive moves to the mix. The expert level applies all defensive and offensive moves. The Kreskin level is the same as the expert level with the addition that it looks at all face down cards to help it make moves.

Youre flying either the Boeing Sikorsky RAH-66 "Comanche", the latest in US produced warfare technology, or the twin-rotored Kamov KA-52 Hokum B "Alligator", the jewel of Russian next-generation attack helicopters. Your chopper is loaded with tons of weapons ranging from Euromissile HOT II to the Longbow Hellfire and the laser guide Vikhr-M air-to-surface missile.
Youll take either the pilot or co-pilot seat, leaving the other to the computer or another player, if youre playing on a network or the Internet. If you choose to, you will have full responsibility for dodging missiles and flying to your target area as close to the ground as posible - appreciating in the process the complexity of all the in-flight physics involved. Otherwise you will be in charge of the guns and making sure the targets are down before they can lock their rockets on you.
In order to win a campaign, a number of key enemy installations must be either captured or destroyed. A successful strike against one of these key installations has just been carried out and, as a direct result of this, a group of Comanches are sent to evaluate the damage caused. When the Comanches are within range of target, reconnaissance data is transmitted. The information shows that the enemy installation has been sufficiently crippled, and so a flight of Blackhawk assault helicopters loaded with Marines are sent to capture the installation.
Flying back from the recon mission, the Comanches are attacked by enemy AAA. The Comanches can either retaliate themeselves, or the can request assistance from friendly aircrafts in the area. A nearby group of A-10s is just returning from a close air-support mission and is happy to oblige. The Comanches land back at base and re-arm, but the base is running low on ammo, and so a group of transport helicopters are tasked with flying to a nearby factory to pick up supplies to restock the airbase.
In the meantime, the Blackhawks are approaching the enemy installation that is to be captured.
However the enemy has pre-empted this assault and a flight of Havocs are patroling the base. fortunately, the Blackhawks brought along an escort of Apache Longbows and are also aided by a pair of F16s, which just so happened to be operating in the area. Pretty soon, the enemy is overpowered and the Blackhawks land within the perimeter of the installation, and friendly forces are one step closer to winning the war.

The Confederate Army of Northern Virginia under Robert E. Lee has invaded the north! His army is about 70,000 men strong with 280 cannons.
General Meade and the Union Army of the Potomac have moved to meet Lee. This army is over 93,000 men strong with 360 cannons.
The last major battle between these two foes was at Chancellorsville where the Union army was driven back but not broken. The South has to do something they are loosing the war in the west and Lee hopes that this invasion will cause Lincoln to draw troops to Washington relieving pressure in the west. The South also hopes that with a victory they will be able to get foreign intervention on behalf of the Confederacy.
Advanced units of both armies have engaged around the small town of Gettysburg Pennsylvania. It is now about 2:00 PM and the Confederates have the upper hand. The only problem for the Confederates is that they have no idea how many Union troops are in the area. Jeb Stuart and the Confederate cavalry are off on a raid and have not reported back with key information about the location of the Union forces.
