- Freeway now includes an option for generating CSS that is compatible with Internet Explorer 6 for Windows (IE6). In Freeway 4 Pro this option can be turned on or off document wide by simply clicking a check box in the Document Setup dialog, or on a page by page basis by clicking a check box in the Inspector palette. In Freeway 4 Express, the IE6 browser compatibility option is always on.
- A new Styles Inspector has been added. This appears as a new pane in the Inspector Palette. The Styles Inspector displays all the styles in the current selection (the cascade). It is also an easy to use UI allowing styles to be added or removed from all of the elements relevant to the current selection. JoUp is XTensionsTM Software for Imposition of QuarkXPressTM documents. The usage of JoUp is very easy and intuitive. All actions are done with the standard functions of QuarkXPressTM, but with a lot support from JoUp. All time consuming tasks like creation of boxes, marks and loading these boxes are done automatically by JoUp.
There are no restrictions due to possible imposing schemes as this is the case with many of comparable tools. The created documents can be saved as templates and reused. The final document with the imposed pages is a normal QuarkXPressTM document and can be saved for later printing.
In addition it is possible to add the pages of different documents on one sheet. JoUp is available for MacOS (PowerPC) and requires QuarkXPressTM version 4.1 or higher.
