Free zoom and go 1.0 software for mac

Zoom is a Z-Machine, which means that it plays text adventure games written in ZCode. The original games were written by a company called Infocom in the 80s: these are available on the Infocom Masterpieces CD, published by Activision.
Unfortunately, Activision seems to have lost interest in this title - however, there are a few companies that have a stock of this CD.
In around 1993, a compiler called Inform was released that allowed ordinary mortals to create their own ZCode adventures. This sparked quite a revival, and there are many games available for download here (ftp://ftp.ifarchive.org/if-archive/games/infocom/)

The Mac OS X version supports all the features of the X-Windows version, has a much better user interface, and supports several extra features, such as speech output.

Zoomie 1.0.3 is a distinguished and easy to use extension that makes window Zoom boxes more convenient. Normally zooming a window causes the zoom box to move as well. If you want to immediately zoom the window back, you have to re-findthe box to click it. With Zoomie, the mouse pointer moves WITH the window, staying inside the box where it's ready to immediately click again. Cursor Zoom is a Preference pane that allows you to modify your cursor size!
This product is in maintenance mode, as the functionality is provides is now built in with Mac OS X 10.4:
System Preferences > Universal Access > Mouse
You might still want to use it if you have not yet upgraded to Mac OS X 10.4.
A Word of Caution:
The larger the cursor, the more impact on system performance. Very large cursor sizes will also affect system stability. The cursor sizes that can be set through the simple interface of the Cursor Zoom preference pane has been tested and should be perfectly safe to use.
