ASCII Web Artist is a web-based CGI application which generates ASCII HTML art from images.
Just select an image and press submit.

Please note that there is a 12KB/6500 pixel limit on uploaded images in order to preserve server bandwidth and horsepower.

A Mac OS X application is also freely available for download.

To host it, you must be running a Mac OS X server.

Mac OS X Server Web Password is a web application that allows users to change their Open Directory passwords via a web page.

Once it is installed, users connect via a web browser to a URL on your Mac OS X Server such as https://www.example.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MOSXSWebPassword.

They can then enter their username, old password, and new password, and their account password will be changed.

If you deploy this application for real world use, you should make sure that your web server will allow people to access the application only via SSL to protect passwords.
