Country Song Generator is a cute program that I designed the UI for. The original country.c was a simple ANSI C command-line app which the original author is unknown.
Country Song Generator will randomly generate lyrics to a country song.
Enhancements:
- Version 1.0.1 fixed a bug where the song would be cut-off near the bottom.

iPod Song Entsorger is an iTunes script that removes one or more tracks which you have selected on your user playlists AND removes those songs from the library as well, so you dont have dead linked songs laying around that you meant to be deleted.

This set of scripts was written to help rate songs on headless Macs running iTunes. It basically comes down to providing an easy way to rate songs with just a keyboard. It provides verbal feedback for the user as well, so you know if it worked.
NOTE: iTunes must be the front running application in order for these apps to work. There are lots of switchers that can make this happen (there are also some workarounds I can share as well, but they are harder to configure, so not documented here).
Enhancements:
- The "?" option now announces the current rating of the song.
- The "?" option only changes the rating of a song if it is changed from the current rating.

YahooTunes automatically sets your Yahoo! Messenger status to the currently playing song in iTunes.
YahooTunes 1.0 is compatible with Mac OS X 10.3 and higher with Yahoos official Mac OS X Messenger client. It has only been tested with Yahoo! Messenger 2.5.3.

Jared - The Butcher of Song 1.0 is a fast and powerful program which is now available as a widget for Mac OS 10.4, (or "Tiger" as Mary Jane Watson calls it). Jared has long been an affront to the senses, an insult to the diatonic scale, an inappropriate "yo-mama" joke told over-loud at the elegant dinner party of internet culture, but never has Jared been as much of a waste of hard drive space as he is as a widget.

Change Disk Name to Song Name is a small AppleScript that changes the file name of an MP3 file to the iTunes song name in the iTunes catalog so that they remain consistent (you only have to do the edit maintenance in one place).

The script changes the disk file name(s) to "song-name".mp3. A one line change in the script changes the name to "artist - song.name".mp3 and/or drops the extension.

The script handles duplicate names and missing disk files. Place this in your /users/name/Library/iTunes/Scripts folder which is where you install the script set Apple provides on their site.
