Click Open Favorite Folders to see a list of folder names from your Favorites folder. Choose a folder from the list to open the selected folder in a new window. Choose "Set Script Preferences" from the list to determine whether the script displays the target folder in a new window or the front window.

To use the Toolbar Scripts, place the scripts in a convenient folder (perhaps a folder you create in your Home Library folder named "Toolbar Scripts"). Rating Writer is a small utility for iTunes 4 and Mac OS X that allows the user to write their current song ratings to the songs ID3 tag (in the comments field) and then later restore the ratings to a different iTunes library.

This set of scripts was written to help rate songs on headless Macs running iTunes. It basically comes down to providing an easy way to rate songs with just a keyboard. It provides verbal feedback for the user as well, so you know if it worked.
NOTE: iTunes must be the front running application in order for these apps to work. There are lots of switchers that can make this happen (there are also some workarounds I can share as well, but they are harder to configure, so not documented here).

Country Song Generator is a cute program that I designed the UI for. The original country.c was a simple ANSI C command-line app which the original author is unknown.

So Im going through my library, and notice quite a few albums which have the Artist and Song Name reversed.

So I wrote this little script to, well, fix that. I dont know how prevalent this problem is (I have quite a few CDs ripped ages ago when CDDB was even less organized) but thought others might find it of value.

Swap Artist and Song Name is a small AppleScript that swaps the artist and song name for selected tracks.
