These are the picks needed to play the Maryland lottery. Every time you press the "Generate New Numbers" button, you get a new set of random numbers.
If you wish to pick numbers for a different lottery, click on the "Other Lotteries" button. There are drop-down menus to select the number of picks (one to seven), the number range (from two to 75 in steps of one) and a check box to ask for a Bonus Ball number. These choices allow you to get the numbers you need for the lottery of your choice.
As for the first window, you can press the "Generate New Numbers" as often as you want and a new set of numbers will be displayed every time. You can also change the drop-down menus and "Include?" checkbox settings and the display will adjust accordingly.
Gold Price 4.0

Gold Price Widget checks the current price of a troy ounce of gold (or gram) every 30 minutes and displays its value.
If the price is higher or lower then the average of the last last 10 prices, an arrow reflecting this change is shown next to the price.
For the Dashboard version there are seven settings on the reverse panel can be make to change how Gold Price Widget operates. To reveal the reverse panel, click the i while the mouse pointer is over the widget. You can set an alarm to play if the price ever gets over or below a set amount.
The sound played can also be set for each of these thresholds. The theme and size drop downs will allow you to change the coin and denomination shown. Price will not be affected by any section made here, for that use the Currency drop down. More about that below. If your interested in using your own images, see the section on hacking.
The next setting controls how the price of gold is to be displayed. The choices include the price in troy ounces or grams or you can display grams or ounces per unit of currency. The currency drop down lets you display the price of gold in 23 different currencies along with any available currency symbol that is also supported by HTML.
For some of the more devalued currencies there may not be any decimal points. Finally, Gold Price widget, from time to time, will check for updates and notify you when a new widget is available for download by displaying a blue arrow (see fig 3). Click this arrow to view the widgets web page. For those who wear tin foil hats, you can turn this feature off by unchecking "Check for updates".

Find Past iCal Events:
This action lets you search for past events based on a whole number and a timeframe. The Apple provided Find iCal Items action can be used to find events based on a variety of criteria but its date options are more focused on recent or upcoming events.
Find Past iCal Events action works as a filter over the iCal events passed to it to find only past events for a given timeframe. The timeframe is specified by a positive whole number and a popup button selection from the following choices: Minutes, Hours, Days, Weeks, Months, and Years.
Move iCal Events:
This action moves the specified iCal events to the specified calendar. Move iCal Events permanently moves events passed to it to a specified calendar, either one that already exists or a new calendar the user names. The output list of events contains the same events as the input, but the references are to the destination calendar to which they were moved.
Get Date Range String from Events:
This action creates a date range string from the iCal events provided to it. Get Date Range String from Events provides an easy way to discover the date range of a list of events. The action offers three date styles and the option to copy the string to the clipboard for pasting into other applications.
Find Past iCal To Dos:
This action lets you search for iCal To Do items that are past due and/or have a specified completion status. An iCal To Do does not require a due date, and thus specifying a timeframe for the due date is optional. The timeframe is specified by a positive whole number and a popup button selection from the following choices: Today (no number is used), Days, Weeks, Months, and Years. Completion status can also be checked to find To Dos that have or have not been marked as complete. Note that it is possible to filter against only the completion status if the due date check is not enabled.
Set iCal To Do Due Dates:
This action lets you set the due dates on iCal To Dos. The due date is specified with a positive whole number and a popup button selection from the following choices: Today, Days, Weeks, Months, and Years.
Add iCal To Do Alarms:
This action lets you add message or message with sound style alarms to iCal To Dos. The time of the alarm is relative to the due date of the To Do and is specified with a combination of positive whole number and a popup button selection from the following choices: The same day, The day before, Days before, and Days after. The time of the alarm can be specified to the quarter hour using popup buttons.

Bip is not actually a sound file. It calls to hardware to make a noise using a simple sound command. So far, OSX refuses to use it as a System Sound, but it will work as an alert in other Apps (i.e. Mail).
NewBip is a recording of Bip using wiretap. the original Bip is still included to be true to the original intention of the Classic Sound Pack (after all, it is possible that hardware beeps on different machines may sound different).

When starting the game, you will see the set up screen which allows you to set the properties for the game.
Number of columns is the size of the number you want to try to solve. 4 means a 4 digit number. Number of choices is the number of posible choices for each slot. 4 means that each slot can have the values of 1 to 4. Press start when you are ready.
Next you will see the game screen. To end the game and go back to the setup screen, press the New Game button. Next to that are question marks which shows how big of a number you have to try to solve. The middle section is the guess history. At the bottom you can enter in a guess and press the Guess button or give up by pressing the Answer button. Pressing the Clue button will help you out by telling you the value of one of the slots. After making an guess (right) you will be told how many of the numbers correct and how many numbers are in the correct slot. p is for position and indicats the correctly positioned numbers. c is for count and is the correct number numbers regardles of position. With this information, you should be able to figure out what the correct number is. In the example shown to the right, three of the numbers are correct but none of them are in the correct location.

Some remain so." Your challenge is to pick the author from the ten multiple choices shown in the drop-down menu. This is the 15th quote and 52 points have been awarded so far.
When you click on the "Start Test" button, a quote is selected at random from the Maintenance window information and displayed. Select an author from the drop-down menu (click on the down arrow to see the choices) and click on the "My Answer" button. If your answer is correct, you will be awarded five points and the next quote will be displayed automatically after one second. If your answer is incorrect, you will be penalized one point and the correct answer will be displayed. Click on the "Next" button to continue the test. The test is twenty quotes. At the end of the test, your score is compared to scores in the High Scores windows. If your score is above zero and in the top ten scores, your name and score are added to the High Scores table. You can change a name by double-clicking the name, retyping the name and pressing the "Return" key. High Scores information is saved between sessions. If you decide to clear High Scores, you are asked to verify that this was intentional.<<less
