Assault on Yavin Four is a text adventure game, based on the book Assault on Yavin Four from the Star Wars Missions series. The game has many puzzles, mazes, and enemies that characterize an "adventure" game. You are in serious danger of being captured or killed, so save often. The game takes place right after the first Death Star has been blown up. An Imperial cruiser has just crash-landed on Yavin Four, and the Rebel base is in danger of being discovered! You, a young Rebel soldier, have been assigned to go out and find the stormtroopers, stop them from launching a distress beacon, and locate the captain.

Dont think this mission will be easy. Random events and subtle puzzles make for a dangerous experience. For more information, and instructions on how to play, see the included Read Me file (in pdf or rtfd format), or use the Datapad item during the game. There is also one secret item in the game. While it has no practical use, it is hard to find, and requires that you go in nearly the opposite direction from your goal, as well as combating a monster instead the Massassi temple. fourBar is a minimal application launcher for POSIX systems. It launches four commonly used applications (terminal, file browser, editor, and web browser by default).
fourBar is written in Python/Tkinter. Documentation on simple customization is included.

The idea of the game is to get four or more bubbles of the same colour to connect in any shape except diagonally.

If you do this, the bubbles burst allowing the remaining bubbles to rise. If these bubbles form a join and burst, you’ll get double points! Use the arrow keys to move and rotate the bubbles, and use spacebar to quickly float the bubbles to the top of the glass.

Four Variables 1.1 is designed as a free pre-algebra investigation for students in grades five through nine. The program secretly assigns values to four variables (w, x, y, and z) and the student must find these values by requesting the computer to perform operations with the variables.

For example: the student might ask the program to divide x by z; the program would respond "x/z = 0.875." The are two different investigation types: one where all four operations are allowed, and one where only division is allowed.

Hidden functionality is built into iTunes that allows songs to be rated on a scale of 0 to 100 instead of just 0 to 5. In fact, a * rating is really 20, a ** rating is really 40, a *** rating is really 60, a **** rating is really 80, and a ***** rating is really 100.
With HiRate, you can take advantage of this functionality to improve your iTunes ratings. Perhaps you have a song that you rated four-star, but like a bit better than your other four-star songs.
Using HiRate, you can raise the rating to 81. It will still show up in iTunes as a four-star song, but youll see it at the top of your four-star songs when sorting by rating.

NetFungus 1.0.4 is regarded as a popular and enjoyable networkable board-game-like strategy game. The goal is to capture the enemy fungi by spreading out and surrounding them.

It's sort of like Othello with Tetris pieces. NetFungus can be played by two players over the internet, or by up to four players at one Mac.
