Simplify Path is an Adobe Illustrato plugin which enables the user to reduce the number of points on a path while closely maintaining shape.

Access the Simplify Path(s) command under the Objects menu. Especially useful if you are working with art that originates from CAD software (or ArtPro) that simulates curves using many short, straight path segments.

ractal Paths is a powerful fractal generator and renderer, like many other tools available. It also has a simple user interface offering the user direct control of the fractal, unlike many applications which only work with fixed equations and at best just let the users supply a few numbers.
Fractal Paths lets you draw a path, or an ordered set of points connected by lines. It then turns it into a fractal by repeatedly replacing all the lines with copies of the original shape.
Each time it does this its called an iteration, and fractal paths supports up to 500 iterations. Fractal Paths shows a live preview of the fractal behind your path as you draw & edit the path.

An Object Path is a droplet to retrieve the AppleScript-friendly location for a file or folder quickly; also an application. You can either double-click the droplet to browse for the file or folder, or you can drop the file or folder onto the droplet to get its location.

The location gets copied to the clipboard immediately, which can then be pasted into the Script Editor app or any other script editing program. Based on Ben Lawsons Drop Shell 1.0 AppleScript example.

FilePathCM is a contextual menu item for copying the path of a file or folder to the clipboard.

To Install the Contextual Menu: Place the plugin into your "Contextual Menu Items" folder located in your Library folder, creating it if necessary:

/Library/Contextual Menu Items/FilePathCM.plugin

Then logout and go back into your account to load the plugin.

To Use: Control-click on a file or folder in the Finder and select

FilePathCM > Copy Path

xstat is a program to view various stats on a file/folder. It is modeled after the stat program, but has a few different options.

To install, either use sudo ./installer from this directory, or copy the xstat program file to where you wish, and the man page if you wish to install that, as well.

You can customize the install path with the installer by giving it the path you wish to install as an argument. E.g. sudo ./installer /usr will install it to /usr rather than to /usr/local (the default).
