Wouldnt it be great to make Javadoc look more like you want it to? Maybe even use those new-fangled web standards the younguns keep talking about? The truth is, the standard Javadoc HTML output is starting to show its age, both inside and out.
XHTML Doclet is a doclet for use with Javadoc, intended as a modern alternative to the Standard doclet. It creates valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional markup and provides better hooks for more flexible CSS styling.
The goal is to create intelligent document structure without any inline styling, resulting in greater freedom to change the appearance of all the files, either site-wide or for certain types of pages.
Enhancements:
- Incremental progress beyond 0.1 release, including improvements to ConstantValues.java and SeralizedForm.java, refactoring of common string constants, lots of navigation refinement, and many bug fixes.

Fuzzy Coconut is pleased to announce its first Dashboard Widget, an off-line reference to the XHTML 1 specification from the W3C. The fcXHTML Reference widget does not function by retrieving information from the internet; instead its entirely self-contained, so itll work even when wi-fi doesnt.
The fcXHTML widget provides a concise bit of information for each element in the xhtml specification. Each element can be accessed either via a pull-down menu or by directly editing the name of its tag and using the arrow keys to select a choice from suggested matches.

- The element tag and its description
- Valid attributes for the element
- It also displays information about the possible values of an attribute.
- The Minimum Content Model for the element expressed in a regular expression-style format
- Miscellaneous information about the element
- And an example of how the element is used

Because HTMLValidator uses the same validation technique as the official validator you can be assured the the pages you create work correctly.
HTMLValidator works without access to the web. This means that you dont need an active internet connection to validate pages and nothing is sent over the internet during validation. Your pages remain secure and you dont need to open your firewall to validate your intranet.
HTMLValidator also has some Applescript support, so you can script the validation and see the errors.
This is only the first release of HTMLValidator, so please send in any ideas or suggestions (or bug reports if necessary)

What is HopSlide good at?
- Math: HopSlide can render math formulas written using the TeX syntax.
- SVG images: HopSlide can embed SVG images, crop, and resize them. HopSlide can also dynamic animate the SVG images (for instance for implementing animations).
- Programming Animations: HopSlide provides a canvas that slides can use to implement fancy animations.
- Playing the slides on a remote computer: just browse the URL of HopSlide from a remote computer (for instance, play your slides on a vanilla Windows Vista machine provided by a conference room even though you have authorized your slides on your Linux laptop).
Who is HopSlide meant for?
HopSlide is meant for people that:
- does not specially like wysiwyg systems (LaTeX users ?).
- wants to use their own preferred editor (emacs ?) even for slides.
- likes programming and think that sometime programming slides can be useful.
Who is HopSlide is not meant for?
HopSlide is not meant for those of you that deem that a slide authoring system has to be wysiwyg.
