SimpleCrypt 1.7.3 is a simple to use, yet sophisticated encrypting tool. SimpleCrypt is the first attempt at an easy-to-use Java Swing encryption program. It uses password based encryption and the Blowefish or AES algorithm at 128 bits. The application uses the .enc extension to signify files it has encrypted. Mac OS X, Windows and Multiplatform (jar) versions are included, as well as source. This allows you to port your encrypted files to different computers and decrypt them. Am not responsible for any lost data due to (probably improper) use of this program. Released under the GNU GPL.

DoppleViewer is a interesting, resizable widget that displays doppler radar images from the National Weather Service.
It includes all weather radars in the United States and will cycle through base reflectivity, composite reflectivity and rainfall when clicked.
