Worms 3D update 1.0.1 has an advanced feature to fix the following issues over previous releases: Generating multiplayer landscapes a number of times no longer produces a 'turn-end validation' error. Allow users to switch languages in the 'Advanced' tab of the 'Worms 3D Options' dialog, that appears when the game is launched (hold down 'Cmd' when launching the game if you previously deselected the 'Always show this dialog' option). Switching to a scheme other than the 'Standard' scheme should no longer produce 'turn-end validation' errors. Playing LAN multiplayer games is now possible without having an internet connection present. Update now records last checked date correctly even when a update was not found.
Worms Blast takes place on water. Colored blocks gradually move closer to your character from above, threatening to crush everything in its path. Your character must pilot their boat and shoot the blocks to destroy them in order to survive. However your weapon is color-coded and you must hit blocks of the same color as your weapon to destroy them. Hitting a block of different color from that of your weapon will recolor it (and the surrounding blocks) to that weapon's color. If you destroy a block, blocks of the same color touching the destroyed block will also be destroyed.

And what they havent done is mess up the game. As Team 17 explain it, the problem with moving the game into three dimensions was one of the technology allowing them to do a good job of randomly generating and destroying landscape. It was not until they were confident that the technology they had developed allowed for both true-3D landscape deformation as well as the faithful translation of the established Worms visual style, that they were prepared to do the 3D thing.

OpenLieroX 0.57 rc1 brings you an attractive kind of a realtime Worms which based and compatible to the famous LieroX. LieroX is a 2D shooter game. It is an unofficial sequel to Liero, and is the most popular of all the Liero clones. It features online play, fully customizable weapons, levels and characters. Liero Xtreme was created in C++ by Jason 'JasonB' Boettcher, an Australian programmer.
The game is based on a deathmatch setting, where multiple players face off in a closed level. Each player is equipped with five weapons selected out of all the weapons allowed, and with a ninja rope that allows the player to move in any direction. Players begin with a set amount of lives, and whilst the game records the number of kills, the last man standing is usually considered the winner. LieroX also allows team deathmatches, which has made it common for players to form clans.
Because of the huge community, there are dozens of levels and mods available. You also have no problem to find somebody on Internet to play with. Or if you want to play offline, you also can play with bots.
