PiXel Check is a utility that allows you to easily turn on all or specific pixels on your LCD display, allowing you to check for bad or dead LCD pixels.
Click the mouse button or press any key to dismiss a test or jump to the next color in the "Automatic" mode.
To the best of my knowledge, this is the FIRST and ONLY LCD pixel checking utility for OS X. Why do I say this? Well, I couldnt find any, so I wrote PiXel Check! :)
For those who care, it was written in Objective-C using Cocoa.
Enhancements:
- This version of PiXel Check is dedicated to the seven brave men and women of the Space Shuttle Columbia who lost their lives on February 1, 2003.
- Multiple monitor support! There are no options to select, it just magically detects your extra display(s).
- Help (English) is now available from within the application.

Google. We all know it as the worlds best search engine but is it something more? Have you ever noticed that wen you miss spell a word google can almost always figure out what you meant even though the spelling could be quite off? Even though the method for this process is quite complex Im sure I have created this program to harness it.
Limits : Can only correct as much as google can. Google is not magic (but very very close :P)
Enhancements:
- Fixed a bug with the program that would prevent it from working if you didnt have your harddrive call "Macintosh HD".

Advisory Check is a tool for monitoring the security of installed software. Advisory Check gathers security advisories using RDS/RSS/XML feeds, compares them against a list of known software, and alerts you if youre vulnerable.
NOTE: Advisory Check is licensed and distributed under the terms of the BSD License.

Enhancements
- Windows hosts can now be monitored remotely by using the MS-RPC protocol. INSTALL and install.sh files have been added.

Problem: iBook, PowerBook or MacBook Pro power cord keeps getting unplugged.
Solution: Audible and Visual alerts from Power Check.
Uses Growl (requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later) and Play Sound for extra functionality, but they are not required.

One of the most useful things you can do with Entourage Mail Tickler is track the actions you have assigned to other people. For example, you order a book online and want to make sure that you receive it. Simply tickle the email confirmation until the book is due to arrive.

Another variation is to setup your email account to always BCC you on outgoing mail. This acts like a receipt for a job order, which you may then tickle until it’s time to follow up.

An email tickler can be implemented in a number of ways. The most basic is to create a set of 43 folders labeled 1-31 (one for each day of the month) and the remaining twelve labeled January through December. If you want to defer a message, you just drag it to the appropriate folder. The next time you check your email, open the folder that corresponds to today’s date and voila! Well, almost.
Like most things that work good in theory, actually implementing an email tickler can be a bit of a pain.

For instance, do you really want to be dragging-and-dropping your email from folder to folder, and folder to sub-folder, and where did that email go? And what happens if you forget to check today’s folder all together? If you remember to check tomorrow’s folder, but not today’s folder, is that email then lost forever? And why can’t this thing just send my email back to my Inbox when it’s due?

Enter the world of AppleScript. Here we find a set of scripts that let you send email to a single @Tickler folder. Messages can be deferred 1 day, 3 days, 7 days, to next month, or even next quarter. At the end-of-which, each email is sent back to your Inbox automatically. And best of all, each script has its own keyboard shortcut, so you never have to take your fingers off the keyboard!
