Fool's Lexicon 1.1 is a product known as a free Chinese and Japanese dictionary client applying the public domain EDICT and CEDICT Japanese and Chinese dictionaries. The program includes help files, preferences, autopaste, and custom copy features. Partial, whole word, and whole term searches are all supported. Results may be transferred directly into other programs such as Flashcard Wizard. Up to five search windows may be opened. Source available for download.

Dockless is a little app that does what some people have always wanted - remove certain applications from their dock.
Dock real estate can become precious, and some apps dont make a whole lot of sense sitting there.
Thats where Dockless comes in. With Dockless, any OS X application can be made to show in the Dock or not. Programmed in Cocoa-ObjectiveC.
Enhancements:
- Fixed hang that would occur with multiple selection: I misunderstood the NSIndexSet API
- Dockless will now only prompt for an admin password if the file modifications needed require it
- Dockless will now automatically apply docking changes
- Cleaned up interface a little

Dali Clock is a digital clock. When a digit changes, it "melts" into its new shape. The date is displayed when the mouse is pressed. The window can be made transparent, and can do funky psychedelic color cycling.

This is a very old program! The original version was written some time in the early 1980s by Steve Capps for the Xerox Alto workstation. In 1984, he ported it to the original Macintosh 128K.

In 1991, I (Jamie Zawinski) re-implemented it from scratch for X Windows on Unix. Its been fairly popular there ever since.
In 1999, I ported the X11 version to PalmOS. The entertaining thing about this is that the Palm Pilot that I had at the time was an only slightly more powerful machine than the Mac 128K: they had almost the same CPU, and almost the same sized screen! The Palm was about 4x faster, though, and had 16x as much memory. And it weighed a whole lot less.

Finally, in 2005, I ported the X11 version to MacOS X, bringing this story full circle.

The preview_file script just shows the first 255 characters of a text file (or the whole file if its less than 255 chars long) in a dialog window without the need to open it using any application.

This is handy if youve forgotten what a file contains and you just want to know if its the one youre looking for.

Cocoa Symbol Explorer is used to view/search the objective-c runtime hierarchy, to view your object inheritance structure, and to see the implemented protocols of classes.
