Scribe 2.5
Scribe brings an innovative, versatile note-taking program designed by a historian. more>>
Scribe 2.5 brings an innovative, versatile note-taking program designed by a historian. Think of it as the next step in the evolution of traditional 3x5 note cards. Intuitive and easy enough for a college student, Scribe allows the most meticulous researcher to store extensive notes, digital images, and, in addition to the usual published references, more formatted archival source types than any other bibliographic program.
You can create, organize, index, search, link, and cross-reference your note and source cards. You can assemble, print, and export bibliographies, copy formatted references to clipboard (Chicago or MLA style), and import sources from online catalogs (one at a time only). You can store entire articles, add extended comments on each card in a separate field, and find and highlight a particular word in a note or article. Not to mention such features as the outline, timeline, and glossary.

Where Is M13? 2.0.1
Where Is M13? - Displays Messier objects in 3D more>>
Using paired face-on and edge-on views, the Galaxy View shows you where that cluster or nebula you enjoy viewing in your telescope is actually located relative to the center and plane of the Galaxy, providing a unique three-dimensional perspective of the Galaxy.
The Object List provides important physical information about the objects you choose to list. Galactic latitudes and longitudes as well as luminosities, true sizes, and distances are displayed. A quick click of a checkbox brings up a display of the equivalent apparent data.
The Sky View shows you where the objects displayed in the Galaxy View are located in the night sky, using a star map plotted in galactic coordinates. This use of galactic coordinates, rather than the more common equatorial coordinates, helps you really understand the relationship between what you see in the night sky and an objects galactic location.
We think youll find that "Where is M13?" literally adds another dimension to your night sky observing. Enjoy exploring this new perspective!
