Quit Application CM s a contextual menu plug-in that allows you to quit an open application from its icon in the Finder without switching to the application. It is really meant to be an easy way to quit background only applications, especially for developers.
To use it, drag the "Quit Application CM" file into the "Contextual Menu Items" folder located within the System Folder. Depending on your system, you may have to reboot for it to take effect.
When you control-click (or right-click - doh!) on the icon of an open application, you should be able to quit it. Note that this uses an AppleEvent to quit the application, and because a contextual menu plug-in isnt a real application, AppleEvents arent supposed to work.
