WebKit PB 1.6.2 is a very serviceable tool which launches the WebKit nightly build and enables Private Browsing.

If the WebKit is launched normally, WebKit PB will enable Private Browsing. Clicking on WebKit PB a second time does not disable Private Browsing and will open a new window (if no windows are open).

Safari PB 1.8.2 is a very tractable and powerful program which launches Safari and enables Private Browsing.

If Safari is launched normally, Safari PB will enable Private Browsing. Clicking on Safari PB a second time does NOT disable Private Browsing and will open a new window (if no windows are open).

IdleWeb 2.1 is such a useful screen saver module for Mac OS X which allows you to view websites while you aren't using your computer. URL's can also be dragged to the list of bookmarks from Safari.

PBOpener 1.0 is a mighty effective program that registers ProjectBuilder to add the service "ProjectBuilder/Open Project".

After selecting a file/folder in any application, you can let PB open the project in which the file resides. You don't need to select the PB.project file; any file in a directory containing a PB.project file, or the directory itself, can be used to launch PB.From a technical point of view, PBOpener doesn't add any category, no does it any posing. It simply adds a new class which is provider of services named SenPBOpener. The class is not provider of (future) services named ProjectBuilder (the default application services name).

Requirements:

• PBOpener has been compiled and tested on MacOS X Server and WOF 4.x.
• It may also work on OpenStep (Enterprise) 4.x but you will need to modify the PB.project and Makefiles in order to recompile it.

The Tixe framework is a toolkit for application developers that improves WebKits accessibility via Cocoa bindings. It includes a bindings-compliant controller class (a subclass of NSTreeController) that enables binding to the DOM tree of a WebView. This lets you use Cocoa bindings to manipulate the document content, styles, and JavaScript values of the page displayed in the WebView.

With the framework, Tixe includes an Interface Builder palette to speed development of WebKit-based applications. You can build your application in Interface Builder and test your design in its simulation mode. Tixes palette automatically loads the framework, so the controller and bindings are fully functional inside of Interface Builder. This lets you quickly development rich features without writing a single line of code.

The download includes several sample NIB files that demonstrate the powerful combination of Tixe, Cocoa bindings, and WebKit. One sample implements a CSS style editor with live feedback. It uses standard Cococa controls that are bound to the web pages style values. For instance, you can grab a slider and watch it change the h1 font size, or use a standard Cocoa color picker to change the body background color. Just open the NIB document in Interface Builder and try running it.
