WeatherDock displays weather information based on xml-feeds supplied by weather.com.
WeatherDock displays textual weather information as well as icon-based.
Next to the current conditions it contains 10 day forecasts with 2 day-parts weather information.For the current conditions it displays the current temperature and feels like temperature and the current sky conditions.
It displays the current pressure, wind speed, wind direction, the humidity, Dew point, visibility and UV-index.The forecasts for today and the upcoming nine days, contains per day-part information on the temperature, condition, wind speed and direction, the humidity and the chance of precipitation, as well as sunrise and sunset information for that particular day.
Main features:
- Weather in a window
- The main window shows all sorts of information. It displays the current condition as a big icon and contains all sorts of detailed information.WeatherDock shows 5 or 10 icons containing forecasts for the upcoming 5 or 10 days.
- Weather in the dock
- WeatherDock updates its application icon with an icon representing the current weather conditions. You can customize this icon by adding badges to them representing all sorts of weather information.
- Weather on the desktop
- Next to the Dock icon, you optionally can add this icon to your desktop, this icon will then allways be visible on top of your other applications on a location you desire, but will hide itself when it could get in the way.
- Weather in the menu bar
- WeatherDock can add a menu item to you menu bar. This item contains direct information on the current conditions, but when selecting it you have instant access to more detailed information as well as forecast information.

Weather Go Action is a Mac OS X Address Book plug-in that will allows you to get the current weather information for any entry in your Address Book. For those of you who are not familiar with the capabilities of your Address Book, several of the Fields, such as phone, email and webpage have pop-up menus that appear with Actions.

Now, when you click on the address field label (ex. Home, Office), you have a new action at your disposal. "Weather For Zip…" will provide you with the current weather information from Weather.Com using your default Browser. We hope you enjoy these treats.

Sherlock Weather Channel 0.8 is created as the first and only weather channel for the new Sherlock 3, which provides current conditions, a local doppler radar map, and a 10 day forecast. The information is gathered from weather.com and displayed in the Sherlock window.

If you already have the channel installed, it will be automatically updated. If you are installing the channel for the first time, follow the two Download Now links. Sherlock will start up and a dialog will ask you if you would like to proceed. Click yes and you're done.

JackWidget is a multi-purpose search tool. It has a search field and a popup menu.
The search field, of course, is for typing in the search. The popup menu is for selecting which site or sites to search. Some of the popup choices will send your search to several websites at once.
The simplest way to use it is to select a search from the popup menu and then type in some search terms and hit return. It also supports CLI-style usage, bypassing the popup menu. It has over two dozen searches built in, and is infinitely customizable (if you know how to open a widget package and edit XML).

Meteorologist is a useful weather watcher provided by weather.com. I started working on it as a pet project when WeatherPop was broke for a couple days. Its developed nicely, and I thought some other Mac users may find it useful as well.
Meteo. provides the ability to show the weather in the main menu or the dock, each displaying more detail in a pop-up menu, whose contents are customizeable from the preferences.
You can also change several of the appearance settings for the dock, in addition to setting whether to display temperature data in Celsius or Fahrenheit.
Enhancements:
- Fixed city search for many U.S., Canadian, European, and Australian cities (Thanks to Laurent Daudelin for providing a fix)
- Fixed a crash during first startup
- Now contains partial localizations in German and French.
