Free weather information software for mac

Canadian Weather Information is a Dashboard widget that will allow the user to reference the current weather conditions and 5-day weather report for all major Canadian cities available from Weather Canadas Weather Office web site.
The weather information will be updated as frequently as the widget window is opened.
The widget supports English and French locales.
Note: This widget has not been endorsed by WeatherOffice or Environment Canada in any way. Please read the Copyright information linked to by the widget.

Main features:
- Double-click on the main panel to switch between text and graphical forecasts.
- Windchill (when present) is displayed under the current temperature in blue.
- Humidex (when present) is displayed under the current temperature in red.
- Current weather image (when present for the location).
- Weather warnings result in the location to be displayed in red.
- Clicking on the location text will take you to the web page provided by Weather Office.
- A pop-up menu in the back allows the user to set what interval the widget updates at if it is constantly displayed.
- Air quality information: for locations for which Weather Office reports Air Quality Information (Toronto, for example) the current temperature reading will be colored according to the color scheme that Weather Office uses for pollution (link): blue means low, red means high.

Weather Radio 1.0 is designed to help you listen to Weather Radio from the National Weather service. Listen to Streams from the National Oceanic and Aeronautical Administration (NOAA) directly from this widget. Select from different regions of the USA. Great for traveling or keeping track of weather dangers in your area.

NSF Information is a small and very useful widget that keeps you updated with the latest RSS feeds from the National Science Foundation.

In a convenient tabbed interface, the widget automatically updates itself with breaking NSF news, funding opportunities, scientific discoveries, and publications as theyre released.

0Weather Radar Widget shows the actual rainfall on a map for Switzerland, Germany, and Austria.

Weather Map is an AppleScript application made to download the current weather maps for your selected region of the USA. When you run "Weather Map" it looks at the preferences made by the "Weather Map Run First" application to determine what region you have selected.

Then it downloads the weather maps for your region. It creates a folder on your desktop called Weather to store the maps.

It then creates a sub folder for that download labeled with the date. It stores the maps for the day in that folder. "Weather Map" will ask you if you would like to keep the maps. If you dont want to save the maps, "Weather Map" will delete them for you.

Weather is a simple application which puts the current temperature in the dock.

The following AppleScript can be used to retrieve the temperature value. Modify the fileAlias variable to match your system.
