It isn't a normal pong variant, it just started out that way. You start out with a basic slow but highly explosive fireball, and later you can a lot of different weapons and powerups that make you faster or stronger, or give you machineguns, lasers, ice balls, razor blades and so on. This game has advanced graphics including transparency and particle effects. The ball is the secondary objective, the main objective is to blow your friend or the computer opponent to pieces. It is a free software (some people say: open source), cooperative multiplayer RPG and adventure game, much similar in style (and setting) to nethack and moria, but is fully graphical and runs in realtime. It is set in a classical medieval environment with ubiquitious weapons and magic.
What makes this game special is its depth and the sheer amount of maps to explore: The world is vast (multiple continents, over 4000 manually designed maps, hundreds of monsters and countless variations of generated content) and complex (16 unique races, 17 classes, 40 skills and hundreds of spells to choose from and combine with each other), so there is a lot to explore. The gameplay is open and sets very few limits on character development. And of course a lot of fun is to be had by playing cooperatively with others exploring the same world.
- The Log window cant be closed anymore by Alt+x.
- Wont Alt+x or other Message window operations crash the client anymore directly after startup.
- The invisible/cached parts of the map are darkened even more, so that invisibile parts can be distinguished from dark parts better

Reaction is a port of the classic Action Quake 2 (AQ2) mod. This release brings a collection of code tweaks and fixes from the things found in the last release. Whats new:
- In-game server browser now fixed to show RQ3 3.x games, yay!
- Added an error message to the /radio command to let you know if your bind is messed up and youre trying to play a radio sound that does not exist

In classic up-scroller style take out the enemies as you see them in any way you can. Throughout the game youll acquire different ships, each with its own amount of health, style of canons, and special overdrive ability. Switch between any of your ships at will by hovering over the ghost-ships at the bottom and scrolling through them using either the [scroll-wheel] or [q] and [e]. With each ship having their own health meter but sharing the same over-drive amount, be careful where you spend your over-drive abilities not to let your most capable ships get destroyed right away. For every enemy you destroy the overdrive meter gets refilled a small amount.
Occasionally enemies will drop power-ups. Some replenish the current ships health, some completely replenish your overdrive meter, and some are bombs that take out any and all nearby enemies.
