Word Counter is a simple Macintosh OS X application that performs a word count and a character count. Text can be typed, pasted, or dragged into the window. Text files can also be dragged into the window.
Word Counter can count all words or only words above a specified length. Additionally, it can perform a count of just part of the text if it is highlighted.
Word Counter can automatically update the count based on a user-definable interval.
It can also perform word counts on open documents from Apples TextEdit application via a small floating window.
Word Counter may be useful for writing a paper or an abstract that sets a specific limit on the number of words or characters allowed.

WBC iTunes Scripts Collection 1.8.3 is designed to be a set of scripts that work with iTunes, in conjunction with other programs. WBC is releasing this iTunes Scripts Collection as one large collection in the interests of convenience .

Contains:

• WBC iTunes Suite for Salling Clicker (from now on to be distributed as part of this collection)
• WBC iTunes Hot Keys Set (for QuicKeys or other Hot Keys program)
• WBC iTunes Scripts for Big Cat
• WBC iTunes Meets GeekTool
• WBC Grab Bag scripts (mostly for ID3 tag clean-up + other miscellaneous scripts)

This script will count all the mail in the current identity. Currently, it only counts mail messages, not newsgroup messages - I may add that facility in the future if there is enough demand.

The script will report the number of folders & messages, and the amount of disk space occupied by the data.
Count the Mail is also able to optionally put this data on the clipboard, ready to be pasted wherever you like.

Count Words is an Entourage script that will count the words in a message or selected text within a message.

Count the words, lines and chars in the selected text, or in the message if no text selected.

Count-O-Mat was designed for users who are accessing their own iTunes share remotely. If you don’t have a user account on the remote machine, Count-O-Mat will not work. Additionally, in situations where you are sharing music with your roommates or friends, Count-O-Mat might not be that useful…

TV Countdown is a great widget and it has been officially released. It’s a nifty little companion to TV Forecast that counts down to the next episode of a TV show.

It features timezone correction meaning that it will account for the difference between your timezone and Eastern Time.

Be warned, however - www.tv.com includes some TV shows that aren’t from the US. Unfortunately these shows aren’t labelled as such and are therefore not supported by TV Countdown.
