way you think
View Your Mind 1.9.0
VYM (View Your Mind) is a tool to generate and manipulate maps which show your thoughts more>>
Maps can be drawn by hand on paper or a flip chart and help to structure your thoughs. While a tree like structure like shown on this page can be drawn by hand or any drawing software vym offers much more features to work with such maps.
vym is not another drawing software, but a tool to store and modify information in an intuitive way. For example you can reorder parts of the map by pressing a key or add various information like a complete email by a simple mouse click.
A map can concentrate a very complex content on little space e.g. a piece of paper. It helps to use both sides of your brain: the logical side and also your creative side (e.g. by using pictures, colors and keywords in a map, so called anchors). It is a technique to organize the way you think: It can help you by developing, sorting and memorizing your thoughts.
Because you just use keywords and drawings, it is much faster than good old fashioned notes. Your brain memorizes things by associating them to other things -- a map makes use of those connections and stimulates new asccociations.
vym is designed to make changes in the map very easy: e.g. if you use it for time management, just move a task to another place or recolor it by a simple mouse click in order to assign it to another day in the week or to give it a new priority.
There are lots of webpages (see e.g. the Wikepedia links below) and also books out there, providing lots of information on working with maps.

Think 1.1
Think - Lets rediscover how to focus, and get back to thinking more>>
Focusing takes concentration, and concentration takes energy. You can only concentrate on so much at a time, and you cant create more energy. What we need to do is change how we work.
Lets limit our attention to one application--any application--at any time. Lets make it easy to change focus when we have to. Lets allow ourselves to bring other apps up quickly if we need them, but put them out of sight again just as quickly.
Lets rediscover how to focus, and get back to thinking.
1. Illumination Panel - This might look a little familiar to you. When you launch Think, the illumination panel will appear, allowing you to choose an application on which to focus--as we call it, "illuminating" it. If you quit the illuminated application, the illumination panel will reappear, where you can choose another app or quit Think.
2. Backdrop - his is what shields you from the distraction of the outside world. The Desktop and other applications are kept behind it to keep you focused on the illuminated app. You can temporarily bring a "guest" application above the backdrop by clicking on another app in the Dock. Clicking into the backdrop will refocus you on the illuminated application, returning the guest to exile.
3. Control Panel - Thinks control panel floats above other applications, and as such, is always available to you.
4. Think in the Dock - Thinks Dock icon serves two purposes. First and foremost, its a convenient way to raise Think and show the illumination panel. Clicking on Think in the Dock is the same as clicking the raise button in Thinks control panel. Secondly, Thinks icon displays some useful information to you. Notice that when theres an application illuminated, its icon is displayed inside Thinks icon. Because clicking in the backdrop refocuses the illuminated application, it helps to know which app is currently illuminated. You can glance at the Dock if you ever need to know - Think will keep its Dock icon updated to help you remember! Not that youd ever forget, of course.
PhotoShirk 1.1
PhotoShirk - AppleScript Studio application that mimics the more>>
To use it you simply launch the application, press a number key that represents the number of minutes that you want dialogue to stay on screen for and hit the Return key.
Need a break?
The trouble with faster and faster computers is that you dont get to relax and think about other stuff while the progress bar winds its way very slowly across the dialogue box...
Photoshirk will faithfully recreate the retro-Photoshop experience so that you can daydream in peace.
Photoshirk creates a "Writing TIFF Format" progress dialogue that looks identical to the one that Photoshop uses.
To use it:
1. Launch Photoshirk
2. Press a number key (the number of minutes you want to rest for)
3. Press the return key
Thats it.
To make it *really* like Photoshop, Ive disabled the Cancel button :-)
If you want to stop the dialogue just press Command-Q or select Quit from the application window.

motionMaker 1.1.5
motionMaker is a program which can grab a picture and take little slices out of it and store them into individual files. more>>
motionMaker 1.1.5 is a program which can grab a picture and take little slices out of it and store them into individual files. These files can then be opened with quicktime player and turned into a nice little movie which makes it look like the thing is moving! Which, of course, it is.
The best way to think about the program is having a large wall mural before you. You have a laser pointer which is in the shape of a box. You move the pointer across the image and take a picture of what's in the rectangle. What you get is a bunch of pictures which you could use to create a movie of panning across this mural.
The mural is a tiff, jpg, png, and the laser pointer is a user defined slice of image that gets saved to a file.
Source is available.

Comet Way Agent Kernel 2.0.1
Comet Way Agent Kernel is designed as a useful suite of software components and deployment tools for quickly building lightweight software agents. more>>
Comet Way Agent Kernel 2.0.1 is designed as a useful suite of software components and deployment tools for quickly building lightweight software agents. The Agent Kernel lets developers assemble complete Agent Applications using interchangeable and extendable agent-based components.
The Comet Way Agent Kernel implements a simple kernel-based agent programming model proven through years of research and development of Java agent applications by Comet Way engineers.
Using the Agent Kernel, engineers develop agent-based components that are modular, reusable, extendable, reliable, and intuitive. The Agent Kernel provides an agent-application model which makes it easy to combine components in various configurations for extreme flexibility in function and compatibility, without making significant demands on platform-specific features or limiting compatibility with existing Java platforms and APIs.
Comet Way strongly believes that agent-based application design is a very effective approach for the creation of any kind of software. While this includes autonomous server applications, the model also works very well for web-based applications, embedded software, and highly interactive GUIs.
