PySynth 0.8
A simple and open source music synthesizer developer in Python more>> A simple and open source music synthesizer developer in Python
PySynth is a free and simple music synthesizer written in Python. PySynths based on a script found on the Web and then modified for this purposes.
The sound does not try to emulate a specific instrument, its more like a mixture of piano, electric piano, organ (in the bass), and vibraphone.
The current release of the synthesizer can only play one note at a time. However, two output files can be mixed together.
The script can also be used as a module by other Python programs.
System requirements:
- Python
BeautynHealth Widget 1.0
Allows you to easily search for products on BeautynHealth.com right from your dashboard. more>> Pianos is the third plug-in in our series of hybrid synthesizers which use a set of waveforms/samples as the main oscillator source combined with a powerful synthesizer- and effect section which processes these waveforms. Are you one of those who own a number of VST plugins or Audio Units, but youre not satisfied with the piano sounds in these. Theyre either boring or the piano sounds dont stand out. Youre looking for something more exciting but still piano sounds, then let us recommend Pianos, one of our ambient (piano) plugins.
The plug-in features hundreds of piano recordings and layers which are combined to create a collection of pianos sounds which were very satisfied with. Many of the presets follow our tradition of sounding "ambient", but this plug-in offers a variety of piano sounds. There are traditional acoustic pianos, grand pianos, electric pianos and synth pianos of many kinds.<<less

Qsynth 0.3.4.1
Fluidsynth GUI front-end application written in C++ around the Qt4 toolkit using Qt Designer Qsynth is a fluidsynth GUI front-end application written in C++ around the Qt4 toolkit using Qt Designer more>> Fluidsynth GUI front-end application written in C++ around the Qt4 toolkit using Qt Designer
Qsynth is a fluidsynth GUI front-end application written in C++ around the Qt4 toolkit using Qt Designer.
Eventually Qsynth may evolve into a softsynth management application that will allow the user to manage and control a variety of command line softsynth, but for the moment it wraps the excellent FluidSynth.
FluidSynth is a command line software synthesiser based on the Soundfont specification.
System requirements:
- Qt4 (core, gui), C++ class library and tools for crossplatform development and internationalization (http://www.trolltech.org/products/qt/)
- fluidsynth, real-time software synthesizer based on the SoundFont 2 specifications (http://www.fluidsynth.org)
Enhancements
- Command line option parsing has been slightly refactored to allow custom override through extraordinary fluidsynth option settings (eg. -o name=value; fixes bug #2781579).
- Main form layout has been given a little bit more slack space, just to accommodate some longer text label translations (eg. German).
- Converted obsolete QMessageBox forms to standard buttons.
- Saved channel presets are now effectively loaded on engine startup.
- Russian translation added (thanks to Alexandre Prokoudine).
- Grayed/disabled palette color group fix for dark color themes.
- Qt Software logo update.
- Fait-divers: desktop menu file touched to openSUSE conventions.
- Slight optimizations to the output peak meters refresh rate.
- MIDI and audio device names are now user selectable options through respective drop-down lists on each engine setup dialog.
- New knob style: Skulpture.
