4. Basic Operations
   • Backup - simply drag your files and folders into Data Backup and select a destination drive and go!
   • Restore - select the files and folders you want to restore, just like backup, but reverse the to and from folders.
   • You can backup to or restore from any mounted drive including CD, DVD, ATA, SCSI, FireWire, USB, or networked volumes.

MySQL BackUp is small app in AppleScript Studio, it allows for quick backup of your mysql data (locally or not) without the terminal (MySQL BackUp is wrapper for the mysqldump command).

Backup timer is an AppleScript that simpley backs up a folder daily.

This script is a timed applescript that stays open where it checks the time once an hour and when it corresponds to the hour designated in the script, executes a duplicate command where a folder of files to be backed up is copied to a folder named for that day.

The folder is backed up daily (from Monday to Friday). The script runs within a time range, gives a voice warning, mounts a volume, duplicates a specified folder to a folder that matches the day of the week with a timeout command, ejects the volume and quits.

The script should be saved as an application and should always be running.

iBackupIt gives you a personal backup program. It is aimed at the home user who needs to backup its personal data to an external harddisk on a regular basis. It allows to make full or incremental backups and to protect them with passwords.

iBackupIT is an alpha-stage proof of concept software. It has been tested but you should not rely on it when making backups of important data. Anyway archives produced by iBackupIT uses the standard MacOSX format, so they can be accessed easily even without this application.
