Version 2.0 adds the following:
- Fixed the infamous "sendUpdatesendUpdatesendUpdate" bug!
- Possibly fixed a bug that could still cause a duplicate of a single track to appear in some playlists--this needs more testing as the bug is very difficult to reproduce.
- Added a functional "Help" menu (note that the "FAQ" item will not yet load a valid page--this will work after the final release).
- Please note that there have been no changes to the iHam on iRye iAdmin and iServer applications for this release and they still reflect the 2.0b6 version number.

MassTransit 6.0.2
Digital file transfer for WAN networks. more>> Digital file transfer for WAN networks.
MassTransit Enterprise is the leading software product for advanced business-to-business transfer of digital files across high-speed wide area networks including the Internet.
It is server-based software for Windows or Mac OS X installed at your corporate location(s) that allows you to share with your customers, vendors, remote colleagues, and other trading partners.
MassTransit Enterprise supports every file transmission workflow - server to server, Web to server, and server to Web - providing easy-to-use transfer capabilities to a community of users who need to exchange high-value-added digital assets. It enables remote proofing by allowing business partners to send files quickly to output devices at each others locations - across town or around the world.
MassTransit Enterprise is extremely easy to use. Any user who can drag-and-drop can successfully send and receive files and folder hierarchies using MassTransit Enterprise.
MassTransit Enterprise fully automates all aspects of file transfer, including the handling and tracking activities a shipping and receiving clerk would perform. It provides an open platform for customized workflow automation based on your business practices and priorities.
MassTransit Enterprise provides freedom of choice in transmission protocols, supporting TCP/IP, FTP, Wam!Net, SSL, and more. The simple user interface is the same, regardless of the communications method you choose.
MassTransit Enterprise adds value to file transfer with advanced management tools that are unavailable in any other solution: programmable e-mail notification of file arrivals and other key events; detailed, easily exportable logging and tracking of transmission data; and bandwidth usage prioritization capabilities.
MassTransit Enterprise delivers a high return on investment (ROI) as compared to conventional shipping, managed service networks, FTP-based software solutions, and other methods of file transmission. MassTransit accelerates your time to market, reduces labor costs, eliminates shipping or service usage fees, increases quality assurance, and enhances business opportunities through the universal connectivity potential of the Internet.
MassTransit Enterprise is highly customizable, yet its comprehensive feature set, reflecting years of input from leading print media businesses, makes it fully functional "out of the box."
MassTransit Enterprise includes a unique Web browser plugin File Transfer Client, making file transfer as easy as dragging and dropping files and as familiar as using your usual Web browser.
Re-engineer your file transfer and remote proofing workflows to help your business grow and prosper. Find out what MassTransit Enterprise can do for you.
System requirements:
- You must register in order to receive a trial licence key, required for downloading the latest version.
Version restrictions:
- Only 10 customized clients allowed.
- Maximum 45 file transfers.
Enhancements
- BUG FIX: Filenames with trailing spaces will be successfully transferred by MassTransit servers. [#15392][Mac/Win][Enterprise/Professional]
- MassTransit will now successfully poll and send files whose names end with a space on Enterprise and Professional. Previously, queuing files ending in a space would produce a "File Not Found" error. [x16]
- BUG FIX: Folders with trailing spaces in the name will be successfully deleted. [#23850][Win]
- MassTransit will now successfully delete folders whose names end with a trailing space. This behavior was most notable after sending files in a folder with a trailing space. The empty folder will now be deleted from the To Send mailbox after sending. [x16]
- BUG FIX: Files can be queued for sending by dragging-and-dropping them to the Administrator on Mac OS X Leopard. [#21018][Mac]
- On Mac OS 10.5 (Leopard), you can now queue files for sending by dragging-and-dropping them to the contacts window or the files window. [x13]
- BUG FIX: A slow TCP secure connection will no longer throttle all other TCP Secure connections. [#23455][Mac/Win]
- MassTransit will no longer throttle the transfer speed of TCP Secure connections to the speed of the slowest TCP Secure connection. [x13]
- BUG FIX: Active Directory web contacts can successfully forward to members of groups. [#23686][Mac/Win]
- Active Directory contacts can now successfully forward to contacts who are members of groups when the checkbox for "Make group members available to web clients instead of group" is checked. [x11]
- ENHANCEMENT: MassTransit protocol now supports transfer of files and folders with Unicode characters. [#23588][Mac/Win]
- MassTransit can now transmit files and folders containing all Unicode characters over the TCP and TCP Secure protocols. These files will now be appropriately polled and sent. Upload of files and folders with Unicode characters in their names from the web client is not yet supported, but will be supported in a future release. Folders with high Unicode characters in the names will have these characters remapped to a dash (-) when downloaded with the Mac and Windows web clients. This limitation will be removed in a future release. When transferring files and folders with older version of MassTransit, previous naming limitations apply. To enable Unicode support, set ENABLE_UNICODE_SUPPORT to true in the MassTransit.cfg file. Note that non-TCP transfer protocols and the Mac AppleScript interface do not fully support Unicode. If you are using these features you may wish to leave Unicode support disabled. [x10]
- ENHANCEMENT: Windows Server 2008 Support. [Win]
- MassTransit 6.0.2 officially supports Windows Server 2008. Check the readme and installation documentation for more information on running MassTransit on Windows Server 2008. [x10]
- ENHANCEMENT: Internet Explorer 8 Support. [#23619][Win]
- The MassTransit web client is now supported on Internet Explorer 8. [x10]
- ENHANCEMENT: PHP 5.2.9-1 Support for MTWeb on Windows. [Win]
- MassTransit on Windows now supports use of PHP 5.2.9-1 with the MassTransit web interface. It is recommended that all customers upgrade to this version of PHP at their convenience. [x10]
- ENHANCEMENT: Optionally unqueue files if they cannot be found when attempting to send. [#23645][Mac/Win]
- MassTransit now offers an option to automatically unqueue files when they cannot be found. Enabling this option will avoid repeated "File Not Found" errors for queued files not in the MassTransit To Send mailbox (forwarded, programmatically queued, etc.) that have been removed from their original location. To enable this feature, set the PURGE_TO_SEND_RECORDS flag in the MassTransit.cfg file to true. [x10]
- BUG FIX: Maintain proper resource fork file size when transferring through Windows MassTransit servers. [#23675][Win]
- MassTransit will no longer double resource fork sizes when transferring files to Windows MassTransit servers. [x10]

ntop 3.3.8
Open source application that will help you monitor the traffic on your network more>> Open source application that will help you monitor the traffic on your network
ntop is a network traffic probe that shows the network usage, similar to what the popular top Unix command does. ntop is based on libpcap and it has been written in a portable way in order to virtually run on every Unix platform and on Win32 as well.
To navigate through ntop traffic information ntop users can use a a web browser and get a dump of the network status. In the latter case, ntop can be seen as a simple RMON-like agent with an embedded web interface.
Main features:>
- Sort network traffic according to many protocols
- Show network traffic sorted according to various criteria
- Display traffic statistics
- Store on disk persistent traffic statistics in RRD format
- Identify the identity (e.g. email address) of computer users
- Passively (i.e. without sending probe packets) identify the host OS
- Show IP traffic distribution among the various protocols
- Analyze IP traffic and sort it according to the source/destination
- Display IP Traffic Subnet matrix (whos talking to who?)
- Report IP protocol usage sorted by protocol type
- Act as a NetFlow/sFlow collector for flows generated by routers (e.g. Cisco and Juniper) or switches (e.g. Foundry Networks)
- Produce RMON-like network traffic statistics
System requirements:
- Memory Usage - depends on the ntop configuration, number of hosts, and number of active TCP sessions. In general it ranges from a few MB (little LAN) to 100 MB for a WAN.
- CPU Usage - depends on the ntop configuration, and traffic conditions. On a modern PC and large LAN, it is less than 10% of overall CPU load.
