Proverbs Widget is a Dashboard widget that displays a verse from Proverbs each time you open Dashboard. You can view the book of Proverbs one of two ways: in consecutive verse order, or in random order.
At the users preference, it can also be set to automatically load a new verse each time Dashboard is launched, or to only be changed by clicking the new verse button (so one can ponder each proverb for a while). It features three buttons, one to view the previous verse, one for the next verse, and one to view a random verse.
This version is the biggest update in the (short) history of this widget... with the largest enhancement being almost a complete rewrite of the underlying framework to support skipping through Proverbs chapter by chapter. Graphical enhancements include a new icon, new fonts, smoother corners, etc.
Now in this version, it features five buttons: two new buttons to scan through the book chapter by chapter, two to scan through by verse, and one to view a random verse.

Bible Reader Free allows you to access the Bible quickly, change the view of the text to your own taste and display multiple passages simultaneously.
The built-in search facility will look up keywords across all, or select parts of the Bible.
Enhancements:
- Startup splash screen now dismisses itself after 10 seconds.
- [NEW] History palette added. It automatically maintains a list of the verses visited and allows for manually adding verses as well.
- [ADD] History and Search palettes open at launch preference added. Contents of History and Search palettes are now preserved when the palettes are hidden.
- [CHG] Searches with Swaps have now been removed -- again. Its not possible with the current setup to search with Swaps on in any reasonable amount of time. It can give the impression that the application has locked up when it is in fact happily searching away. This feature will not be reactivated until a viable solution is found.
- [FIX] Searches within Select Books was not working. After selecting the books and closing the window, the search would revert to searches on
- [CHG] Simplified the Swap options where searches are involved. Now, whenever Swaps is activated in the Preferences, Swaps is also active in searches and search results
- [NEW] Fonts menu in Preferences is now dynamic: you should see a list of all of your installed and activated fonts. If this font is not found when BRF is launched, Helvetica will be chosen as the default.
- [FIX] Strongs drawer was causing terrible problems, particularly by forcing the window it was attached to to come to the front all of the time. This has now been fixed, along with some other changes that should make Strongs drawers much better than before.
- [FIX] Changes to preferences, including Swaps changes, now updates already-open Browser windows.
- [ADD] Underline style option in Notes.
- [FIX] Using the File->Open option for a Note, then choosing Cancel would cause the Open dialog to keep reapearing. Closing an Untitled Note with the red dot, and saving it at the alert would leave Untitled in the Window menu.
- [FIX] Darby and Strongs translation files both had some errors, both mostly in Psalms. New versions are available at www.hiddenfield.com.
- [FIX] Nehamiah in the list of books should be NehEmiah...
