Italian Verbs 1.2.8 is regarded as a reliable and useful freeware dictionary module for use with the shareware programs: 'Verbs & Nouns' or 'Verbs & Nouns Lookup'.
The module is for practicing the forms of verbs. Students often lack confidence about using verbs in Italian because each verb has so many forms. With a bit of practice forms such as 'possa' and 'faremmo' and 'si fossero alzati' become familiar and you feel comfortable about using them. 'Italian Verbs' lets you practice these forms at your own pace. It contains about 660 regular verbs and about 380 irregular (in 15 tenses and moods), with English translations. You can choose the verb or group of verbs that you want to practice, and the tense that you want to practice. You can use it for translation exercises (English-Italian and Italian-English), and as a mini-dictionary.
Supplementary information is provided for some entries, and you can add your own notes, for instance useful phrases. You can edit or delete existing entries, or add extra verbs. A built-in 'verb-generator' supplies the correct forms for extra verbs if you provide a minimum of information. You can record sound, and you can do exercises based on sound, for instance type-what-you-hear (recordings are not provided; you have to record the sound yourself).

This tool is intended to automate the build process as much as possible. We use BIC here at PSU to do the initial install of the base OS and applications on all of our lab and kiosk Macs.
Main features:
- Configure and set the Open Firmware security, preventing unauthorized access via single (root) user mode or booting from external devices
- Set the date and time
- Restore a master disk image quickly to a Macs internal hard disk
- Configure the network settings on the restored disk (via ncutil):
IP Address : DHCP or Manual (Static)

Network Names (Computer and Local)
- Change the startup disk to the restored disk
- Extensible through pre- and post-restore scripts

Enhancements:
- FIXED: Now correctly supports Macs with dual on-board ethernet ports. NOTE: Only configures the network for the "Built-in Ethernet 1", port 1 on the case, and all other network interfaces are disabled (unless you enable the AirPort interface in the auto-run prefs - see below for more info on this new feature). Macs that have dual on-board ethernet includes the most recent Power Mac G5s with Dual 2.3 Ghz processors and the Mac Pro desktop. Ive only tested this on the dual 2.3 Ghz G5, so please let me know if you see failures when BIC 2.6.5 and ncutil 3.1.1. Do not use ncutil 3.1.2 due to previously mentioned issues on the main BIC home page. Thanks to Y. Flammer for reporting this issue.
- NEW: Under Mac OS X 10.4.7 or higher*, can now enable the AirPort network interface enabled by adding "ENABLE_AIRPORT=YES" to the auto-run preferences. *NOTE: This will ONLY work reliably when PSU BIC is running under Mac OS X 10.4.7, with ncutil version 3.1.1 installed, and the restored volume is ALSO at Mac OS X 10.4.7 or higher. There was a bug in Apples 10.4.6 networking code that ncutil relies on for the network interface names, so ncutil inherited the bug, and thus PSU BIC as well, when running under 10.4.6. Use Mac OS X 10.4.7 and it should work for you - if not, pleasesend me a bug report with the run log file. As time permits, Ill add a dialog too that prompts for enabling the AirPort card or not, but until then, just specify it in the auto run preferences.
- FIXED: Using new asr syntax of "restore" verb with 10.4.4 at later. Previously, when running PSU BIC 2.6b3 under Mac OS X 10.4 to 10.4.3 there would be an error during the restore process. Thanks to R. Booz for sending in the run log with this issue, and the Apple asr system engineer J. Kateley for reporting which version of Mac OS X 10.4 (10.4.4 and later!) started to include the restore verb for asr.
- FIXED: More robust blessing of the restored disk as a bootable device for Intel/EFI based Macs.
- NEW: Logging the version of Mac OS X that is installed on the restored drive. This can be useful for debugging issues with ncutil 3 configuring network preferences on a volume that is at a different version than the version of Mac OS X that PSU BIC and ncutil 3 ran under.
- FIXED: Updated some method names to prepare PSU BIC to be ready for compilation under REALbasic 2006 to create a Universal (PPC and Intel Native!) version of PSU BIC, which will be available very soon. This change should not affect anything for this version of BIC.

Online Bible 3.5.1 offers you a convenient desktop utility which is designed for serious Bible students. You can display Bible passages and notes in any number of windows, limited only by available memory. Most operations can be performed using either the mouse or keyboard commands. The program is both powerful and easy to use. The basic text for the Online Bible is the 1769 Authorized Version, commonly known as the King James Version, indexed to about 350,000 Greek and Hebrew words using Strong's numbers.
In addition to all the Strong's numbers, over 100,000 verb parsings have been added. Footnotes from the original translators are also included. In addition to the King James Version, several other English versions are available. These include the 1984 New International Version, 1995 New American Standard Bible, 1982 New King James Version, 1989 New Revised Standard Version, 1993 Green's Literal Translation, 1993 Modern King James Version, 1973 Revised Standard Version, 1964 Bible In Basic English, 1912 Weymouth New Testament, 1901 American Standard Version, 1898 Young's Literal Translation, and 1890 Darby Bible. Five Greek texts and a Hebrew text are also available for original language study.
In addition several foreign languages are supported, including Dutch, French, German, Italian, Russian, Spanish, and others. See Appendix D at the back of the User's Manual for a detailed list of Bible texts and add-on modules currently available. Complete search facilities include, word, phrase, multiple words, wild cards, and much more. Searches can use AND, OR, XOR, NOT, and proximity operators to select verses. The range for searches can be restricted. All verses are displayed in context rather than asking you to choose a verse from a list to display. Searches are very fast, taking only a second or two even on an older Mac. You can add notes to a verse using the built-in editor.
Cross-references can be included in your notes for automatic recall. In addition to verse notes, topical material, pictures, and word studies can also be saved. Verses or notes can be printed or saved as ASCII text files for inclusion in most word processing documents. Copying text between this program and your word processor can easily be done via the clipboard. The Bible FKey which is included can be used from within any editor or word processor to automatically insert Bible passages directly into the document you're currently working on without switching applications.
