This is the chess game played in many countries around the world for your iPhone. The Chess game uses the famous GNU Chess engine.

Some Chess is a a tool designed in PHP witha MySQL backbone & no javascript. That means that it runs on computers with no access to javascript, unlike yahoo games (& etc).
Its multiplayer only, with the possiblity of multiple games at once. Some Chess follows all the rules of chess, with point and click movement.

Checkers and Chess is a free Yahoo! game widget is very simple. You get the same thing here as you would out of the box of a real checkers and chess set just a board and playing pieces.
There isnt any fancy AI in fact, there arent any options for a computer player at all (since thats not included with a plain ol chess set either!).
Included are all the features of chess and checkers required to play the game, but its up to you to follow the rules.

iPhone chess board which supports communication with chess engines using the xboard protocol.
iPhone Chess seems to be mostly playable, but i would like to add some new features like piece exchange and en passant pawn taking.
I think the general game mechanics should work fairly reliably, although I think castling may cause some crazy stuff to happen at times, keep an eye out :) Id love to get any feedback about this, its my first Obj-C app, let alone for the iPhone.
