Utility Button is a REALbasic class that emulates the Add/Remove Buttons seen in Cocoa applications.

Utility Button is useful for adding or removing lines from a ListBox.
Also this class can emulate the Action button, like the one in the Finder toolbar.

The Hotline Search Utility script uses http://www.tracker-tracker.com/ to search for files on Hotline servers. It can also search for servers and remember previous searches.

Rockbox Utility is a handy utility that will help you install and Uninstall Rockbox, the Bootloader and the Fonts. It works on Windows, Linux and Mac. But it needs more testing. Please feel free to try it out.

The Font Fixer utility removes all old copies of all our Accordance fonts, and reinstalls only the latest TrueType fonts in OS X. It is intended for people whose Greek, Hebrew, or other fonts are not displaying correctly.

The Accordance fonts.pdf explains the common problems and solutions. The Font Fixer is for those people who still have problems. If necessary you may rerun the 7.x installer to get a full set of fonts.

Utility Lock is a custom built Screen Locking mechanism, it was designed after the Apple lock that is available in Apple Remote Desktop.

Utility Locks purpose is to allow for a greater customization in how the screen is locked, you can now have it locked on Sleep/Idle/Intervals and with the applescript support you can combine it with other applications like WiFiScriptor.

SMART Utility is a very useful tool designed to scan the internal hardware diagnostics system of hard drives. SMART (Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology) is a system built into hard drives by their manufacturers to report on various measurements(called attributes) of a hard drives operation.

The attributes can be used to detect when a hard drive is having mechanical or electrical problems, and can indicate when the hard drive is dying. This allows time to hopefully backup, and then replace the drive.

Each manufacturer implements a different number of attributes, but most implement some common ones. They include temperature and bad sectors (bad areas on the drive).

There are thresholds for each of these attributes, and if the measurement drops below the threshold, the overall SMART status will indicate failure.

However, some of these attributes, such as bad sectors, can indicated a failing hard drive before the threshold is reached. Unlike Disk Utility, and other drive utilities, which only check the overall SMART status, SMART Utility checks the individual attributes and indicates when a drive is failing.

SMART Utility is based on the command line "smartmontools", an open source software package that does the actual scanning of SMART attributes. SMART Utility only parses the data that smartmontools outputs, and it would not exist without it.

· Fixed bug where selecting a drive below a drive with the volumes showing would result in an incorrect information display

Wincent Strings Utility is a command line application designed to be called from within Xcode shell script build phases. In its first mode of operation it merges changes from the localizable strings files in the development language into existing localized variants.

In its second mode of operation it can be used to preprocessed localized InfoPlist.strings files by scanning them for Info.plist keys and performing substitutions of values such as copyright year and version number.

Falcon 4 Utility works only with Microprose / MacSoft Falcon 4 for Macintosh. F4U is an application that is used to consolidate programs made by third parties, includes a lot of bug fixes and a tutorial.

After you have downloaded the iDisk Utility disk image, it may be found by clicking Computer on any Finder toolbar. If the iDisk Utility volume is not available, double click the file iDisk_Utility.dmg, which should be located where your browser stores downloaded files.

Once you have the iDisk Utility image open, double click on the iDisk_Utility.pkg icon to begin the installation.

When installing, if you receive a message that you do not have sufficient privileges to install either the required system software updates or the application, click the lock icon in the installer and enter and enter an administrators name and password.

Use iPod Reset Utility to restore the following iPod models back to their factory settings, when iTunes is unable to do so:

Samsung Mobile Utility uses infrared communication (irda) and works with the samsung V200 photo mobile phone and most probably with other samsung mobile phones too.

Samsung Mobile Utility may also work with a serial adapter; however this has not been tested.

AppleWorks File Repair Utility is designed to fix AppleWorks documents that have become damaged when the documents are saved from AppleWorks 6 running on a Mac OS X 10.2.x client to an AppleShare or compatible file server.

Damage to the file from any other source or circumstance cannot be repaired by this utility.

To repair damaged documents, drag individual files or folders to the AppleWorks File Repair Utility icon in the Finder.

A copy of the original file will be repaired, and the prefix "Fixed" will be added to the name of the repaired file.

The repaired file will be saved in the same folder as the original damaged file.
