There is a bug in the Entourage import code where sent messages imported from Eudora or Netscape are bold (as if they were unread or unsent) and there is no easy way to "unbold" them.

The Fix Eudora/Netscape Import script fixes those messages. If you have made any modifications to a message in Entourage (edit it, add links, ...) these changes will probably be lost when running this script; it?s best to be used immediately after importing.

iPhoto allows easy import of photos from disks. But if these pictures have been modified, you have to choose to import the modified or the original version. This forces you to keep originals outside iPhoto (double management), or else import originals and redo modifications (!).

iPhoto: import originals is an iPhoto AppleScript that enables you to import originals of pictures modified before importation.

First, import your images, modified or not. Then use this script to import originals of modified pictures. Henceforth, the "revert to the original" item of the "Photos" menu is available, your originals are well organized. This import is made by copy, as iPhoto does. You should remove the duplicates from your disk (after archiving? just to be safe).
