MapQuest (and therefore Address Books Map Of feature) does a very poor job of mapping Australian addresses, so I created this plug-in which uses Whereis instead.
Put WhereIs into /Library/Address Book Plug-Ins (if you have an admin account and want WhereIs to be available to all users) or ~/Library/Address Book Plug-Ins (if you only want it to be available in your account).

SMSender is a nice program that will help you send SMS messages using an existing Xtra-Zone Account from Swisscom Mobile.
It uses the OS X address book to find your friends cellphone number.

SenderPix exports pictures from Apples Address Book so that they are viewable in the Mail.app email client.This used to work automatically in earlier versions of OS X, but not in Jaguar.
