With (unofficial) FM4 Widget you can listen to Radio FM4, a stunning radio station from Vienna, through your Dashboard.

Unofficial EyeTV.mdimporter is a Spotlight plugin for EyeTV recordings. The plugin retrieve meta data such as programming title, episode title, description from the recordings for Spotlight to index. As a result, users can search for recordings based on these meta data.

EyeTV is a PVR software that works with several tuner devices and is very popular in Mac OS X communities. However, EyeTV has yet to include features that help users manage and search recorded programs. For example, you cant categorize recordings of the same show, and you cant search based on the description or episode title of a recorded program.

On the other hand, Spotlight, a Mac OS X Tiger built-in meta data database and query interface, is a very powerful tool for searching, categorizing (using Smart Folder) files once proper meta data are assigned. A plugin can be implemented to supply customized meta data to Spotlights database.

This project aims to implement a Spotlight plugin for EyeTV recordings. An EyeTV recording consists of a .mpg file (media streams), a .eyetvr meta data file and a few other files. This plugin, UnofficialEyeTV.mdimport, retrieves the meta data from the .eyetvr file and supplies them to Spotlight when it indexes the .mpg file. As a result, users can use Finder to categorize recordings, and can search for recording using the meta data.
Some helper applications may also be developed to help users in using EyeTV under this project.
Whats New in This Release:

· This release fixes a problem with .eyetvr generated by older versions EyeTV, in which recording title and episode title keys are missing. The title key will be used if the two keys are missing.
· A new custom attribute (net_sourceforge_aneyetvimporter_EyeTVRecordingID) is added.

Unofficial Google Maps Viewer Widget is a simple public alpha of a Google Maps viewer for the Dashboard.

It is currently in alpha stage, since there is one major bug it will not show the content in the pop-up pin windows. There is a second bug, though not major dragging on the map does not work unless you flip to the widget s backside and back again.

Other then this, everything should work though of course, it is a work in progress, and comments are welcome.

Just to let people know, future plans for this widget include a pop-out sidebar for directions support, support for loading your own xml/xsl mapping files, support for Google s satellite maps (this is already done, just not enabled), and, if I can pull it off, pulling terraserver satellite mapping data into this widget allowing better resolution, though with older photographs, for the satellite view.

The Unofficial Gameboy Dev-Kit Advance is a project by Jason Wilkins (fenix at io dot com) to develop an SDK for the Gameboy Advance. I has simply been compiled and packaged for distribution on Mac OS X.

HTMLField is the unofficial final release of HTMLField by Doug Holton. It was designed and written to be a fast, simple HTML rendering solution for REALbasic. HTMLField 2 supports a variety of HTML tags and renders them in very short times.

DynSigFix is a hack to repair a bug in Apples Mail.app present since 10.4.0. This unofficial patch restores the ability to modify email signatures via AppleScript.

Harry Potter 3D Slideshow is an unofficial FREE screen saver. There is no connection to any official Harry Potter stuff, its simply a free screen saver made by a fan, for other fans to enjoy.

MegaPOV is a custom unofficial version of POV-Ray with a lot of additional features. You can have a look at the sample scene gallery for some example for the use of these features.

MegaPOV can be downloaded here as a ready-to-use program for the most common platforms as well as the source code if you prefer to make your own compile.

USB 1.1 connections often fail to complete the transfer. USB 2 is fine however.

XMenu brings back the Apple Menu to Mac OS X and includes also a complete application launcher. By adding one or more global menus to the right side of the menu bar you can easily access your preferred applications, folders (and subfolders), documents and files.

Furthermore theres no explicit need for a configuration (e.g. creating lots of folders and aliases or adding items to user-defined setups) - just activate the menus you like.

All menus and submenus update themselves automatically just like the good old Apple Menu so its not necessary to refresh them manually.

In addition, XMenu optionally displays small or large icons and follows aliases and symbolic links. Finally, please note that contrary to most other solutions, this is neither a hack ("haxie") nor an unofficial menu extra.

SETTINGS
To get to the screen saver settings go to System Preferences, then Desktop and Screen Saver, select this screensaver and slick on Options.

Display Images From Superman Returns: With this turned on there will be billboards around the city displaying images from the new Superman Returns movie. If you turn it off, the billboards will not be displayed at all which could speed things up on slower machines.
