Free unicode software for mac

Unicode Snippets allows you to easily input any Unicode character. This helps when you need fancy characters that you cannot easily reach via the keyboard.
Just type u#### where #### is the four digit hex code of the desired Unicode character. You can find all character codes in the Mac character palette or in your TextExpander PrefPanel. The download includes documentation in German and English.

Unicode HTML Generator 1.0.1 gives a tool to make the generation of static web pages including unicode characters not found in the ASCII set. It works like a simple compiler in that it reads a collection of rich text files containing html source and unicode text and generates html files. This application requires the user to be very familar with html and is for web hackers of the most patient kind.

Univert is a Universal Unicode Converter, at least as universal as the Unicode implementation in Tcl 8.1 or later can manage on your computer.
Univert will convert interchangably between the following formats:
- Unicode - Native Apple Unicode.
- Hex - Hex bytes or words separated by spaces.
- Decimal - Decimal bytes or words separated by spaces.
- Entity - HTML entities, (eg )
- UTF-8/URL - Unicode URL.
- Printable - Quoted printable, using whatever the current encoding is.
- String - C string, using whatever the current encoding is.
Feel free to suggest other formats, if theyre not obvious itll be best if you can provide a reference for them.
The special encoding "none" allows you to generate raw Unicode strings. The
"quoted printable" format is not meaningful for raw Unicode strings containing
characters outside the range 0..255: use UTF-8 or an 8-bit character set. The
only use for this setting is to generate "C" strings for a native-unicode
environment.
You may need to tweak the fonts to get your Unicode text showing properly. If
you know a trick to automatically adjust the font for the character range, let
me know. Tcl doesnt return an error if it cant find a character, so I cant
do a trap on update to flush out failures. :(

HungarianPro 1.0 is an advanced program which satisfies you with a distinguished Hungarian keyboard.

In OS X, there is a Hungarian keyboard layout, but it does not work as you want it. It cannot be used a system wide keyboard, because it is classified as Unicode, as only a Roman keyboard can be system default.

Also, the accented letters o" O" u" U" cannot be properly input with the original Hungarian layout when using CE fonts (non Unicode fonts). This is why I have developed HungarianPro layout, that with a trick contains Unicode character sets, but is reported Roman for OS X. The full feature set of the HungarianPro layout: works both in Roman/Unicode environments, both Unicode and CE Fonts are supported, o~ O~ u~ and U~ for html, Apple symbols, English like Shift layout, working English hotkey mappings, direct mapping for German and French extra letters, full set of lower case and capital Greek letters

The bundle contains 4 keyboards: Hungarian Pro, Hungarian Ext. Pro (with all latin accented chars), Hungarian PC Pro (PC like layout for Alt and Alt+Shift, Hungarian Ext. abc (full set of both latin accented and Greek). Description of the usage in Hungarian is included in .rtf format in the download bundle. The keyboard layout file is documented in English in the file itself. The layout is under the Gnugpl, the documentation is under the Gnufdl licence.
