Danger from the Deep (known as dangerdeep or DftD) is a free (as in free speech), Open Source World War II german submarine simulator.
Danger from the Deep and source code is available under the GPL license and most of the artwork/data is released under a Creative Commons license (Attribution/NonCommercial/Non-Derivative works).
DftD is currently being developed on Linux (i386 and AMD64) and Windows. There are binarys available for Linux (i386 and amd64), Windows (32bit) and there are some old packages for MacOSX.
Danger from the Deep is a program that makes use of SDL/OpenGL and thus should be portable to other operating systems or platforms.
Danger from the Deep is planned as tactical simulation and will be as realistic as our time and knowledge of physics allows. Its current state is ALPHA, but it is playable. If anyone wants to contribute in development, youre welcome, just email the dangerdeep-devel mailing list. Contributing binary packages for various Linux distributions would also be much appreciated.

This Automator action simply cross converts the ID3 tag information within an MP3 file from/to ID3v1 and ID3v2. It was developed due to the frustration brought on from burning MP3s onto a CD (for use in a car CD player that supports MP3) and finding that the player cannot show song information because the MP3s only contain ID3v2 tags.

GPL Components:
This software uses version 3.8.3 of a library called id3lib which is released under the GPL library license. A complete copy of the source along with the source to this Automator action is available via a separate download from the site.

Advanced Snake Widget - The classic game of snake. As a Dashboard widget! Three difficulty settings, and (currently) 10 levels, its a very good, very addictive, very small little game.
If you dont have 10.4 and Dashboard, dont fret - you can still play it, just open up the widget after unzipping it - its a folder - and double click on snake.html.
Its also distributed under the GPL, so if you look at our code (snake-pronto.js) and think "URG!" please tell us how to improve!

Aleph One 1.0 is an enhanced and high functional version of Marathon Infinity known as an exciting Mac-only 2.5D first-person shooter. Marathon Infinity was released several years ago, and is the third game in the Marathon Trilogy. Bungie recently released the source code for Marathon 2 under the GPL (GNU Public Liscence), and Aleph One is the fruits of several people's labor of love on this code, most notably Loren Petrich.

Survex is an open source cave-surveying software package, licensed under the GPL. It is created to be portable and may be run on a variety of platforms, including Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, and Unix.
Survex is very powerful cave survey software, and is actively developing into a complete cave visualisation package. It has a sophisticated GUI frontend.
Survex has no arbitrary limits, and so is particularly good for large complicated cave systems, or areas where you need to see the relationships between multiple cave systems. Putting existing data into it should be easy.
We welcome input from other surveyors on what features they need in Survex, or improvements to the way existing features work. We also encourage people to add their own functionality and send the code back to us for inclusion in the project. We want to make Survex a collaborative project amongst cave surveyors, and we must thank the many who have helped translate, test and improve it so far.
