Tune Backup 1.0 is a beneficial and easy-to-use application which provides a easy-to-use backup solution for your iTunes library.

Simply tell Tune Backup where your iTunes Library.xml file is, where you would like your backed up files to go, and click the sync button. Your library will be incrementally synced. This means that if you sync your library in morning, add a song later in the day, and sync again at night, only the new file will be copied.

TuneQuiz is a small Applescript Studio application that I put together for the kids. It uses your iTunes library to test your musical knowledge in a "Name that Tune" style game.
The player is given ten seconds to name the currently playing song, and receives points based on the speed of answering.

X-Tunes is a free utility to to control iTunes without bringing iTunes to the foreground, or having the iTunes window on screen. The installer places a prefpane in your Library.

Contrary to iTunes or other controllers, X-Tunes does not display a window permanently on screen, but only when you press a given key combination.

This window appears in front of all applications so you can click on its buttons while remaining in the current application. As soon as you release the key combination, the window disappears smoothly.

What is Tunes Menu?
Tunes Menu is a simple and easy to use program that puts a small musical note icon on your toolbar. When you are in iTunes (either the music store, or one of your own playlists) you can select a song, go to the Tunes Menu and click Copy and Find. Tunes Menu will then go out on the net (assuming you are connected) and find selected local online stores and report back (in the menu) if the store has the CD and the cost. You can then simply click on the store name in the menu and this will open your default browser and take you to the store. Alternatively you can enter the details of the CD you wish to find, that is artist and CD name, in to the manual search facility and run your search that way!
