What is the PSI Test? Simply put it is a test to see how many times you can correctly guess, or perhaps foresee, randomly selected items such as numbers and words.
Test 1: This is the Precognitive or "PreCog" test. In this test you will be asked to enter a number in a box. Once you do this and click next the computer will generate a random number between 1 and 100. This test is designed to test your ability to see what will happen.
Test 2: This is the postcognitive or "PostCog". In this test a number between 1 and 100 is generated and then you are to enter you number in the box provided. This test is designed to measure your ability to see what has happened.
Test 3: This is the Random word test. It is similar to test two in that the word is randomly selected before you are asked to enter your word. This test however is simply included to raise the difficulty level and lower the number of "Lucky Guesses".
This test is not scientifically controlled and it is possible that individual results might have been tampered with. Your results may or may not reflect accurate measurements.
Though this version of the application is not suitable for clinical use a clinical version is under development and will be available later in 2006.
This version of the PSI Test is an information gathering test. Results of the test will not be made public until mid summer 2006.

SafariWar will open and display Konqueror web archive format.

This format is used by the Konqueror web browser and file manager to save complete web sites including images. This is similar to Apples web archive format used by Safari. In contrast to the latter the Konqueror web archive can be opened by any modern operating system: It is nothing else than a gzip-tar-archive with the adapted web content inside, mainly an index.html file and corresponding images.

Therefore any system with the tar utility installed is capable to open and display the contents of the war archive.

The use of such a non-proprietary format is a big advantage. In these days an Apple Macintosh computer is able to run at least three different operating systems, with the appropriate software all of them at the same time: Mac OS X, various Linux systems and Windows XP/Vista.

So the war archive can be shared easily, at least between Mac OS X and Linux. As a side effect the generated war files generally are smaller in size because of its compressed nature.

MacResource is a class, similar to RBs ResourceFork, that can read Mac Resource files. It works on all platforms and allows you also to read the new data-fork based resources on Mac OS X.
