Generic
- Highly platform independent with good platform abstraction. Officially supports Linux, OSX and Windows using a wide range of compilers.
- Modularized using a lightweight component framework, SCF, based upon the COM model.
- Self contained so that many modules requires no or few external dependencies.
- Written in standard C++ using very few non*standard extensions. Source available under LGPL license.
Comprehensive and competent
- Contains modules for 2d and 3d graphics, sound, collision detection and dynamics via ODE and bullet as well as support modules for filesystem abstraction, xml loading etc.
- Graphics subsystem:
- Generic renderer abstraction with main implementation being OpenGL based.
- Supports hardware accelerated rendering on all supported platforms and cards from all well known vendors.
- OpenGL renderer uses acceleration techniques such as vertex buffers in AGP or VRAM and asyncronious uploads.
- Shader centric design with shaders defined in xml markup and shader programs implemented using Cg, assembly language or fixed function operations.
- Complicated shaders can be constructed using a meta syntax as composed by simpler modules that gets combined on load.
- Library of common shaders such as normal mapping, parallax (virtual displacement) mapping and hardware skinning.

Space-In-Time 1.1
Space-In-Time 1.1 provides users with a professional tool designed to analyze the space occupied by data on your disks and how it evolves over time, alerting you when the size of a disk or folder exceeds specified thresholds. more>>
Space-In-Time 1.1 provides users with a professional tool designed to analyze the space occupied by data on your disks and how it evolves over time, alerting you when the size of a disk or folder exceeds specified thresholds. Space-In-Time periodically records the used space for each folder on your disks, and saves a history of values and totals.
A graph of these values can be displayed, allowing you to quickly and easily see where space is being used on the disk (for example, System, Applications, Caches, Pictures, ...), and to see variations on the disk over time (caused by a disk or folder suddenly increasing in size). Space-In-Time makes managing and controlling space on your disks so much easier.
Space-In-Time gives a projection into the future of the space that will be occupied by a disk or a particular folder. This feature is particularly useful for estimating - for example - when the Time Machine disk will be full, when it will become necessary to backup your data, to cleanup some folders or caches, or to change a disk.
Moreover, Space-In-Time allows you to create alerts. When a defined threshold is reached (such as a full disk, or an overweighted folder), Space-In-Time can display a message on the screen or even send an e-mail.
Another great utilization of Space-In-Time is to quickly know on which disk you have space enough for a particular operation (a backup, for example), even if the disk isn't mounted.
Examples of use:
- Survey particular folders: Downloads, Caches (Safari or others), etc.
- Trace the evolution of data: e-mails, music in iTunes, pictures in iPhoto, movies in iMovie, etc.
- Know how the disk is used, the distribution and evolution when multiple users share the same machine.
- Be informed when a disk is at full capacity preventing it from working correctly.
- Anticipate the needs of changing a disk, doing some backup or some cleaning up.
Major Features:
- Records the used space for each folder on any of your disks.
- Records, for each disk that you decided to survey, the space used by the disk itself as well as by each folder and subfolder.
- Displays the size and number of files contained in any folder, and at any time since Space-In-Time records the data.
- Displays the space occupied by any disk or folder and the variations over time.
- Displays graphs for used space, variations over time and distribution.
- Alerts with minimal and maximal thresholds.
- Alerts with messages on the screen, or sending an e-mail.
- Projection into the future of the space that will be occupied by a disk or a particular folder.
- Can use the information in your Time Machine backups to start creating a history of your disk space over the last months.
Enhancements:.
- Enhancements:
-
- Snow Leopard compatible.
- Corrections:
-
- Fixed a problem with Snow Leopard that could cause the System to ask an administrator password when disk scan are executed.
- Fixed a problem that can crash when closing the main window.
Requirements: Mac OS X 10.5

Photoshop ignore EXIF color space plugin 1.0
Photoshop ignore EXIF color space plugin - Digital camera fix more>>
Certain digital cameras do not embed ICC profiles and always specify the sRGB color space in the EXIF data, even though they allow the photographer to use different spaces. As a result, Photoshop behaves as if each image is tagged with an sRGB ICC profile.
Placing the plug-in called Ignore EXIF Color Space into the Adobe Photoshop 7 Plug-Ins folder will instruct Photoshop 7.x to ignore the color space specified in EXIF metadata.
In this mode, Photoshop 7.x will present a dialog box when opening images and will ask which profile it should assign to each image. Photoshop will continue to ignore the EXIF color space setting in files unless the plug-in is removed and Photoshop is restarted.

Kennedy Space Center Video Feeds 1.4
Kennedy Space Center Video Feeds - View the action at the Kennedy Space Center more>> Kennedy Space Center Video Feeds - View the action at the Kennedy Space Center
My first Dashboard widget, NASA Kennedy Space Center Video Feeds (version 1.2).
Check out the action at Kennedy Space Center, including KSC weather, NASA TV, Shuttle launch complex 39B, and other locations. Includes the ability to scroll through all 15 channels, or view your favorite.
Updates automatically using the refresh rate that you select. Select from any of three image sizes. You can hide the frame so the image floats on the desktop. Also includes links to several relevant KSC pages.
Known issues:
- The image captions are static, so the text may differ from what is on the KSC web site. In the next version I intend to update the captions dynamically.
- Resizing the widget to a larger size does not repaint the entire image until you grab it and drag (mouse down anywhere in the widget, then drag).
You can still download version 1.0, which displays the same channels, but only in the small image size.
Enhancements
- Resizing the widget now repaints the entire image without requiring a grab and drag.
- Fixed problems when reading and writing the preferences.
- Removed the "hide frame" option.

Adobe Ignore EXIF Color Space Plug-in 2.0
This is a plugin that will instruct Photoshop Elements to ignore the color space specified in EXIF metadata. more>>
Adobe Ignore EXIF Color Space Plug-in 2.0 is a simple yet powerful utility that is developed as an Adobe Photoshop Elements 2 plugin that will instruct Photoshop Elements to ignore the color space specified in EXIF metadata.
When opening images from digital cameras, Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 reads the ICC color profile and EXIF metadata supplied by the camera to determine which color space it should use to interpret each image. Certain digital cameras do not embed ICC profiles and always specify the sRGB color space in the EXIF data, even though they allow the photographer to use different spaces. As a result, Photoshop Elements behaves as if each image is tagged with an sRGB ICC profile.
In the ignoring mode, Photoshop Elements will ignore the EXIF color space. Photoshop Elements will continue to ignore the EXIF color space setting in files unless the plug-in is removed and Photoshop Elements is restarted.
Instructions:
After downloading a ".hqx" file on a Macintosh, use StuffIt Deluxe or StuffIt Expander to access the file's contents.
- Make sure Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 is not running.
- Download the archive file that contains the Ignore EXIF Color Space plug-in.
- Use StuffIt Deluxe or StuffIt Expander to extract the contents of the archive file.
- Locate the Adobe Photoshop Elements 2:Plug-Ins:Extensions folder.
- Drag the extracted Ignore EXIF Color Space plug-in into the Extensions folder within the Plug-Ins folder.
- Launch Photoshop Elements 2.0.
Requirements:
- Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 for Mac OS
