Track Timer 3.0 is regarded as a fantastic and advanced AppleScript script that is meant to be used in conjunction with the scheduling application Script Timer to provide a scheduling solution for Apple Computer's popular iTunes application.

Track Timer is a free AppleScript script that interfaces with iTunes and provides a simple way to specify and play any number of iTunes tracks. You simply provide Track Timer with a play list of music, audio streams, or both and the single track or multiple tracks you want to hear in any order, and it takes care of controlling iTunes. You can even ask for a random track or tell Track Timer to instruct iTunes to shuffle the whole play list, and you can specify a different sound volume for each play list. You use Script Timer to schedule the execution of Track Timer. You can schedule any number of play lists at any number of times.

POTO does just what its name implies -- it will tell iTunes to stop playing after the current song finishes playing.

It will start playing the selected track if the player is stopped; if no track is selected, it will play a random track. Its good like that.

Put the Play One Track Only app into the library/itunes/scripts folder of the root level of your hard drive to make the script available to all users, or of the Home folders of individual users.

It will be accessible thru the scripts menu in iTunes. Starting in OS X (or maybe with a certain version of iTunes) you dont need to quit and relaunch iTunes to use new scripts. Yay!

When you input telephone numbers into a contact record, Microsoft Entourage will not automatically format the number even though you have selected that option in Preferences, unless you enter exactly seven or ten digits with no other characters.

This is deliberate, to allow the entry of numbers in formats other than your default format, such as numbers for other countries. It is annoying, however, because telephone numbers that are copied from mail messages or even simply mistyped the first time they are entered cannot be reformatted, except manually. This script meets the need for automated reformatting on demand.

While there are many programs one can use for bug, customer and developemental tracking, they tend to be overkill for my rather simple needs. Project Track came about because I still need to keep notes on my projects as I write them but I wanted just a little bit more.
Project Track is designed to hold more than one project but you can use it for a single project if you need to. Each of the projects in the database has four sub-databases attached to it. One for bug, customer and development note, and an eMail log.
