Torn Skies 0.8
Torn Skies - An angry, oppressive civilization rules the skies more>>
In classic up-scroller style take out the enemies as you see them in any way you can. Throughout the game youll acquire different ships, each with its own amount of health, style of canons, and special overdrive ability. Switch between any of your ships at will by hovering over the ghost-ships at the bottom and scrolling through them using either the [scroll-wheel] or [q] and [e]. With each ship having their own health meter but sharing the same over-drive amount, be careful where you spend your over-drive abilities not to let your most capable ships get destroyed right away. For every enemy you destroy the overdrive meter gets refilled a small amount.
Occasionally enemies will drop power-ups. Some replenish the current ships health, some completely replenish your overdrive meter, and some are bombs that take out any and all nearby enemies.
Main features:
- Classic Up-scolling Action Modernized
- Randomly Generated Levels
- Variety of Playable Ships
- Freebie
- Created by Derek Arndt and a little Chris Emery.

Transmission 1.71
Easy-to-use, highly tweakable BitTorrent client. more>>
Transmission 1.71 is a really superior tool which has been built from the ground up to be a lightweight, yet powerful BitTorrent client.
Its simple, intuitive interface is designed to integrate tightly with whatever computing environment you choose to use. Transmission strikes a balance between providing useful functionality without feature bloat.
Major Features:
- Easy: Transmission is designed from the ground up to balance power with simplicity. We've set initial preferences so things "Just Work", while advanced features like watch directories, bad peer blocking, and the web interface can be configured with just a few clicks. When Ubuntu chose Transmission as its default BitTorrent client, one of the most-cited reasons was its easy learning curve.
- Lean: With few dependencies and written in C, Transmission has the lowest memory footprint of any BitTorrent client we've seen. It's also the client of choice on low-memory hardware. Imageshack chose Transmission for its BitTorrent farms because the competition "requires amounts of memory several times greater than Transmission".
- Native:
- Unlike some cross-platform programs, Transmission seamlessly integrates with your operating system. The Mac OS X interface is written in Objective-C and uses Growl notifications and dock badging to keep you informed.
- The GTK+ interface has been carefully written with the GNOME Human Interface Guidelines in mind. It uses libnotify for torrent notification, DBUS for hibernation management, and GIO for watch directories.
- Powerful: Transmission has the features you expect in a BitTorrent client: encryption, a web-based interface, peer exchange, UPnP and NAT-PMP port forwarding, web seed support, watch directories, tracker editing, global and per-torrent speed limits, and more.
- Free: Transmission is free software. All its code is freely available online and is licensed under either the GNU Public License v2 or the MIT License. The development team welcomes anyone who is interested in contributing code, documentation, translations, or other help.
Enhancements:
- All Platforms
-
- Fix 1.70 bug that caused high CPU use in high-peer swarms
- Fix 1.70 build problems with DHT and libevent
- Daemon: Fix watchdir issue on OSes that don't have inotify
- GTK+
-
- Fix 1.70 intltool build problem
- Fix crash when the OS's stock mime-type icons are misconfigured
- Handle very long torrent file lists faster
- Web Client: Fix 1.70 bug where some torrents appeared to be duplicates

Burst Digest Messages 1.1
Burst Digest Messages is one of the most advanced communication application for MAC. This AppleScript for Mail will take one or more selected MIME digest messages more>>
Burst Digest Messages 1.1 is one of the most advanced communication application for MAC. This AppleScript for Mail will take one or more selected MIME digest messages (messages formatted as either multipart/digest (MIME digest) according to RFC2046 or simple digest as defined by RFC1153) and extract the individual messages from the digest message - this is especially useful if you are subscribed to a mailing list in digest format but want to reply to a single message in the digest rather than the digest message itself.
The individual messages will be moved to the same mailbox as the original digest message and the temporary Import folder will be deleted (note that the root "Import" folder currently cannot be deleted due to a bug in Mail's AppleScript implementation). When running the script for the first time, the user can choose whether or not to delete the digest message upon successful extraction of the individual messages.
Requirements:
- Mac OS X 10.4 or higher

TNEF's Enough 2.2
TNEFs Enough brings you an interesting and simple to use tool that allows Macs to read and extract files from Microsoft TNEF stream files. more>>
TNEF's Enough 2.2 brings you an interesting and simple to use tool that allows Macs to read and extract files from Microsoft TNEF stream files. The files are usually received by SMTP based e-mail programs from Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Outlook users. The SMTP based e-mail program will usually receive either a MIME attachment named "winmail.dat" or a MIME attachment with the type "application/ms-tnef."
The file is a rich text (or MAPI) message that is sent from Outlook to Exchange. When Exchange sends the message to an outside server it writes the MAPI message as a MIME attachment. The unfortunate side effect of this plan is if the Outlook user has someone in their address book as a person who can receive "Rich Text" then the user will receive the TNEF file whether the user uses Outlook or not.
Enhancements:
- Support PPC and Intel Macs for OS versions 10.5/10.6.

Enhancements:
This update corrects two small but significant problems pointed out by by users.
- The filetype autotyper was changed to provide support for properly typing Stuffit file segments rather than typing them as Stuffit archives as was previously happening.
- A second UU decoder was also added (user selectable) to allow proper decoding of multipart encodings in which the last line of uu data in one segment is not separated from the header data of the next article. A blank line may be required there under message handling RFCs (I have not yet checked) and in any case is customary. The new decoder works even without that blank line present, but loses the ability to detect bad uu character data as a result (which the old decoder does well). Other popular decoders use the second method only while ignoring errors as can be seen by CRC checks of the resultant data. MNT now allows you to have a choice between the two methods.
- Error reporting options for Par file handling were also expanded on a test basis (see comments in documentation).
