Free tone mapping software for mac

MappingService is a tool designed to work with mapping websites. Select text (e.g. an address) in an email, webpage or other document, then choose Map from the Services menu to display a map using one of the following sites:

• Google Maps
• ZoomIn Australia
• ZoomIn New Zealand

MappingService is open source software released under the BSD Licence. Source code and source documentation are included in the download.

While this software costs nothing, the developer gratefully accepts donations.

Cayenne is a powerful, full-featured Java Object Relational Mapping framework. It is open source and completely free. Cayenne cross-platform modeling GUI tools place it in the league of its own, making it a very attractive choice over both closed source commercial products and traditional "edit your own XML" open source solutions.
Cayenne provides management of persistent Java objects mapped to relational databases, single method call queries and updates (including atomic updates of all modified objects), seamless integration of multiple databases into a single virtual data source.

Compendium is the semantic hypertext concept mapping tool at the heart of the Compendium methodology.

Compendium a great tool, the result of over 15 years continual research, deployment and development of a tool to support the real time mapping of discussions in meetings, collaborative modelling, and the longer term management of this information as organizational memory.

Compendium was initially developed in Verizon research labs as a next generation version of the QuestMap product (read more) which provided software support for the widely recognised IBIS methodology (Issue-Based Information System), as embodied in Dialog Mapping by CogNexus Institute.

Compendium is arguably the most advanced IBIS mapping tool available, but goes much further with the addition of extensive support for web publishing, integration with other applications, support for multiple methods, and other advanced functionality.

Verizon, CogNexus, and other Compendium practitioners are now collaborating with the Knowledge Media Institute at the Open University (UK) who are developing the software further and integrating it with other collaboration technologies (see their eScience CoAKTinG project).

Compendium is a robust system, used for real work, but not a commercial product. Its first free public release, of v.1.2, occurred in January 2003, followed by many other releases. The source code became freely available in 2004.

UVConverter is a universal command-line Vietnamese encoding converter which supports all popular charsets/encodings (Unicode, UTF8, TCVN3, VNI...).

Notes: If you convert a document, say in UTF-8, to VIQR while there are also VIQR sequences present in the document, the result may be undesirable. For example: "ho.c tie^ng Vie^.t" will be converted to "ho.c tie^ng vie^.t", because uvconv will insert escape characters for the tone marks. To disable this behaviour, set the option -m.

This release for Mac OS X adds the ISC and VNI-MAC encodings to those implemented in Pham Kim Long’s original UVConverter. The VNI encoding of the original version has been renamed VNI-WIN.
